Chef Marc Murphy's Ditch Plains offers fresh seafood and the best of beach dining - from oyster shooters and lobster rolls to a grilled fish of the day plus celebrated specialties such as the Ditch Dog (a hot dog smothered with mac & cheese), fish tacos, spicy Bloody Marys, a selection of beers on tap and the famously well-priced wine program that Murphy is so well known for.
"The service and food at Ditch Plains are always phenomenal. Such friendly staff, such a nice variety of items, and I love that the mimosas come with your own little champagne split! There are always too many little kiddos there for my taste, but if you're a parent, I'm sure it's nice to have a good restaurant available to you that is also very kid-friendly."

"This was everything we expected - but the service was truly outstanding - the waitstaff and bartender were such nice people. Aside from being great at their jobs - their were simply, super nice people to deal with. Thanks for a wonderful experience. I am sure we'll be back! :)"

"I love this restaurant, so I took friends from out of town here for brunch. Food and environment were great, but the service was very dissappointing! It took about 30 minutes for our waiter to visit our table in the beginning, then getting anything else (coffee, bar drinks, food) was like pulling teeth! Our food took about 40 minutes to come to the table, but another group came in after us and got their food within 15 minutes. I will probably go back but will most likely sit at the bar and not bring guests that I am trying to impress."

"Food was good, nothing amazing but everything was really good. Overall it was a poor experience due to service. It was atrocious. We had a reservation, after walking and waiting for nearly ten minutes we had to approach someone in the kitchen to get seated. Once seated we received very little attention, was never offered to hear specials and overall the feeling was we were a burden to the waiter.
Also, we went specifically for the fried chicken Wednesday, as mentioned on the their website menu. They said that location didn't do it, though that location said they did over the phone earlier in the day."

"As a fan of Marc Murphy's Landmarc, I had great expectations, but Ditch Plains is to be avoided, at least for lunch. We were there when the restaurant opened and were the only ones there for a very long time, still the service was non-existent and we waited 40 minutes for 2 egg sandwiches which when they arrived were hard and cold. We feared the bacon would break our teeth and the potatoes too were cold and in addition tasteless. There is nothing to recommend Ditch Plains."

"I always have a great time here, great food and cocktails. The service is the best in the city. Go for happy hour on Tuesday/Wednesday- no one is there!"
