"I didn't need the chef sending our salad back to our table with a message that the dressing we ask for is what he used. Then send the salad back to us dry with another message
That we can add our own dressing that was sent on the side.
I know the dressing that he put on was wrong as my wife and I both tried it. The server also had an attitude about the whole thing. I use to really like your place but this has put a burr under my saddle. When our food was served that was cool.
The whole experience was very bad. This was my wife's Mother's Day meal.

"I've been here multiple times and this was, by far, the best service experience we've had at Final Cut. The food was also very good and it was late (10pm res) so it was more quiet than usual. They didn't make us feel like we were closing the place down or anything, not rushed at all, which I really appreciated."

"the halibut I had was excellent but my wife's steak and the potatoes were way too salty! Don't salt the stuff! leave it up to the diners to add what they want! that's my only issue. too salty!!

"My wife and I ate here for the first time on Derby Day and must say that hands down this was the best overall dining experience we have had in the Harrisburg area. We consider ourselves experts in the field of fine dining and for overall service, Final Cut nailed it! The food, service and overall atmosphere was comparalble to none. If you go, be sure to ask for Kristen. She was the best server anyone could ever ask for."

"We have been to Final Cut six or eight times. The experience is mixed; food gets to the table cold, the staff is not overly informed, the price reflects a high end steak house. The staff tries to sell a steak that is "grades above the best!" and any local grocery store steak would compare. The steel skillets that the meals are served on come to the table cold; unknown why they use them.
There is an opportunity to bring this restaurant back to where it has been when we found it a great option in this region. Some serious work needs to be done."

"Our reservations were made at 6:45 pm on a Saturday evening. Seating was prompt. While the restaurant was not at capacity and open tables were observed, service was very slow. An hour elapsed before entrees were sent to the table. When the entrees arrived, all were not hot. (Warm at best). The server delivered a wood holder for the cast iron plate which my steak would be served. The plate was not warm and the steak was the same. My wife's crab cakes were also barely warm. The fish dinners for our other couple were the same. Hard to understand given it was a Saturday evening and the restaurant was not at full capacity. Had it not been for the comps to offset the cost of the meal, the dining experience would not be worth the price."

"My husband and I were celebrating our second wedding anniversary, and we wanted to do something that had a more romantic feel. Final Cut was perfect for our evening. The food was amazing, our server Judy was perfect and very excellent at what she does!! We truly had an enjoyable time. "We have dined at the Final Cut Steakhouse several times and the food and service have always been great. We were just a little surprised that there was a set menu and we didn't have the choices that we were used to when ordering off the menu. My dessert was good, but I really had my heart set on ordering creme brulee which was not offered on Feb 14th...."

"Have dined here many times. Prior meals and service have been great. Not on this day. The waitress was slow. She would disappear for long periods of time. The meal I wanted was no longer available. My wife`s meal was cold. We ordered expresso at the end, they were cold too."

"The only thing that kept this restaurant from being outstanding all the way around was that we had to wait 15 minutes for a table. Our reservation was for 6:45 we showed up at 6:47 only to learn that the 6:30 reservation had not been seated. The prices were a bit inflated and the food while delicious came out a little cooler than I would have preferred but the overall experience was very good. It was valentines weekend so the staff may have been stretched to the limit. I think given a different weekend these little problems would not exist."

"We went to Final Cut for an early Valentine's Day dinner (on the 13th) because we had a gift card, heard great things and LOVE great food! We were presented with a small bite of rabbit salami on a baked baguette slice with a pickle and were pleasantly surprised at how "un-gamey" the rabbit was and the combination of flavors was wonderful. For appetizers, we started with the wood fire grilled oysters with Parmesan and the pork belly and were NOT disappointed! The wood fire grilled oysters were different but the Parmesan complimented them well. We ordered the french onion soup and lobster bisque and both found our respective soups disappointing. For entrees we had the Wag-yu special and Maine scallops. The wag-yu was cooked perfect."

"V'Day dinner-first time dining there. Had reservations for 2 and got seated timely. Not very busy. Server was very nice but very slow. Drinks took to long. 3 course price fix menu($75/pp)-ordered steak. 2 hrs to get through the main course-ordered during our first drink. Skipped dessert assuming that it would take forever to get that.
Average steak, $230+ bill, below average service. Cost was not an issue but coupled with poor service and average meal, not the best experience."

"Overall, our dining experience was a very good one. The restaurant itself was beautiful. The wine selection was varied, but not overwhelming...we decided on a WhiteHaven Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. It was light with fruity notes. For the appetizers we chose the Clams & Oysters & the Maine Sea scallops; the former was good, but nothing unique about them, however, the scallops were out of this world and cooked to perfection.For our entrees we enjoyed the 45 Day Dry Aged New York Strip w/Foie Gras & the 8oz filet w/jumbo asparagus, both of which were exceptional (tender and tasty and did I mention tender). Our waitress was nice, knew the menu well & very attentive.If ever in the area, would certainly consider dining here again."

"I had a party of 7 and we sat at the large semi-private circular room. A georgeous setting. Appetizers were as one would expect for the price with no 'wow factor'. The wine list was short and my first choice, Silver Oak, was out of stock. How does a legit steak house run out of Silver Oak? My ribeye was cold and our server was rather unattentive and she seemed to be without help. I would recommend just eating apps at the bar and skipping the overpriced cold steaks."

"I took my mother and sister to dinner at Final Cut Steakhouse and it was delicious! The steaks were incredibly tender (my mother kept commenting about it). We each had the petite filets. The baked potatoes were also baked to perfection. The creme brulee for dessert was incredibly good - very light and melted in your mouth. Even the coffee (just a regular coffee) had great flavor. I highly recommend this restaurant and plan to go back!"
