"Luca and Leonardo is a nice restaurant that is a calm intimate place for a quiet and relaxed dinner. It has a nice atmosphere and easy parking and access to the restaurant. It is on the waterway which is a social hot spot. It is close to the action but away from the louder and annoying parts of the Woodlands Waterway."

"My fiance & I were here over the weekend for a romantic night out. I've been wanting to try L&L since I moved to The Woodlands a couple years ago. I'm sad to say the best part of the night was the beautiful view of the waterway on a nice night. We sat on the balcony and the ambiance was great. The service and food however, was less appealing. My fiance had to go find the water pitcher and refill his own drink and his steak was less than great. I had the lobster ravioli, a big splurge for me b/c I'm trying to eat healthier before our wedding, and unfortunately, it wasn't worth it. The lobster didn't taste to fresh. The best part of our meal was our Pinot Noir and the parmesan bread."

"We had a family dinner for a group of 17 on the balcony for my Aunt's 60th birthday. The food was delicious, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere was energetic! It was our first visit and it definitely won't be our last! The bartender, Sean, made the best drinks & the manager was friendly. We loved it!"

"Went in with high expectations after recommendation from a friend. Although lovely location, view and furnishings, the food was a real disappointment. My husband had the $20 lasagne which was mushy and bland. I had the fish special for $38 which was Chilean sea bass topped with lump crab served on top of mashed potatoes and fried artichoke. The presentation was very plain, lump crab delicious, sea bass flavorless, mashed potatoes without flavor and unsalted. and fried artichoke was bitter in taste. The chilled sauvignon blanc was delicious. 4 star water view was very nice."

"We went there for Easter and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! I had the duck, and it was cooked to perfection, with a delicious balsamic glaze. My husband had steak, cooked perfectly medium rare, and our friend had the sea bass, again delicious! No complaints. The service was exceptional, and the restaurant was very quite."

"My reservationns were at 12:45. ALot of the food on the brunch table was cold even though it was in warming plates. By the time we were leaving at 1:30 alot more selections had been added to the brunch table and a omelete bar was opened. So I was a little disapointed taht we did not get the full brunch experience"

"My wife and I went to this restaurant on Valentine's Day. They had a special menu for this busy night. We were seated right away on the veranda with a nice view of the Woodlands waterway. It took a while to get a waiter, because we learned that our table had been added at the last minute, and wasn't on the seating chart. We ordered a bottle of Super Tuscan from the wine list, and our waiter returned to inform us that the bar didn't have it. We waited 40 minutes for our meal and got our salad course before the appetizer because the kitchen was backed up. Once it arrive, the food and presentation were both excellent, and the wait staff was friendly. Maybe they are just not prepared to handle an extra busy night."

"This was a delightful evening celebration. The staff were all outstanding, the managers were busy taking care of guests rather than standing around like you see in some places. The food was delicious and the atmosphere romantic. It was a little noisier than I'd have liked however in a busy restaraunt, and it was busy, you can hardly expect a quiet atmosphere.
We have already picked out our next meal, the Branzino...

"This restaurant is mostly an adult atmosphere. I did mark as kid- friendly because they were very accommodating and helpful
With my toddler. In fact the table behind me had 4 children! Our waitress was very nice bit seemed a bit overwhelmed and didn't check on the table as often as I would have liked. The manager was very attentive so that made up for the other.

"We arrived at 7:25 for our 7:30 reservation and was told we would be seated at 8:00 - what was the sense of having a reservation??!! We decided to have a drink at the bar only to discover there were 4 "wait staff" that weren't very knowledgeable & served the bourbon & water in a water glass - they need a dedicated bartender. Our waiter at dinner was great!! Didn't hover and let us take our time. Didn't see any appetizers that interested us so we went straight to salad and grilled fish (very good). Beautiful restaurant and wonderful ambiance but the things I've mentioned need "fixing"."

"My husband and I went here to celebrate Valentine's Day a day early. Since it was a Wednesday, it was quiet and the ambiance was exceptional. We requested a window table and were given our choice of tables. Our waiter, Orlando, was very personable and friendly. We had heard that their wine list included quite a few $25 bottles. I guess they have discontinued this because all of their wine bottles were around $32 and up. We each order a glass of wine. My husband order a bowl of the creamy tomato soup, which was wonderful. I had the salmon, which was very good. My husband ordered the chicken fettucini alfredo. All in all, we were very pleased! I'm sure we'll be back!"

"Valentine's Eve DinnerFirst disappointment was that we heard the view was so nice on the Waterway, etc. We had a reservation for 9:15 pm. The night lights would have been lovely, but we were escorted to a table in the corner with a chair and a long upholstered bench against the wall. Another couple within touchable space seated next to us. The lady was freezing as the ac was blowing right down on all of us. Window view tables were available when we arrived, and were not offered or used while we were there.Then we were told that we had to select from the Valentine Menu. There had been no previous indication online that this was to be the ONLY offering at $75. per person. (Online it was implied that one had to register for this meal.)"

Service was very good but it stopped there. The portions were very small and not as good as the regular menu items I have had in the past (the wedge salad was half the size of the ones I had in the past).
Overall it was a disappointing experience."
Service was very good but it stopped there. The portions were very small and not as good as the regular menu items I have had in the past (the wedge salad was half the size of the ones I had in the past).
Overall it was a disappointing experience."

"I had a great Valentine's dinner here. It was very romantic and the service I had was amazing. I would definitely go here again, if only I was rich enough to go here as much as I wanted. But the money was well spent! My favorite dish I ate was the tenderloin served with creamy crab and spinach and potatoes. It was so delicious. I wish I could have that for dinner every night!"

"Got to the restuarant with a 7:30 reservation and they told us it would be at least another 1/2 hour wait. While they tell us we have to wait, they sat a walk in party with 5 people because they had a larger table avialable. Very bad customer service. There were no seats at the bar to have a drink and wait; and no apologies offered. We left."

"Great Italian dinner...moderately priced, great service, even a budget wine list where all listings are $25 a bottle. The only complaint I had was that it was quite noisy with all the customers milling around. That's good for business, but it detracted from the romantic ambiance. The desserts looked great, but we were so full after our dinner that we couldn't get any. Awesome place....definitely a favorite for special occasions."

"Luca & Leonardo is a great Italian restaurant in The Woodlands. It is definitely a cut above all the chain Italian places. However, with the close quarters inside, it can get quite noisy, especially if you are sitting across from the bar. On the other hand, the outside is much more peaceful and enjoyable. Weather permitting, this should be the first choice. Don't forget to look up at the beautifully frescoed ceiling inside the restaurant."

"Our whole experience was excellent from beginning to end. The house made lobster raviolis were fantastic. Our server (Camilo) took really good care of us and really made our experience special. The whole staff was very warm and friendly and we are planning to go back for valentines day."
