"Our party of 4 were delighted to sit in a quiet, relaxed atmosphere where we could enjoy conversation, good affordable wine & great food. The service was professional, friendly & well timed. We were invited into the spacious yet cozy lounge for an after dinner drink...it was a wonderful way to end a pleasant evening."

"Disappointing on Feb. 22/13. Although the server was attentive, the kitchen was extremely slow at getting food out, not just at our table but elsewhere too. While the menu reads well, there are far too many ingredients in each dish, which results in muddied flavors and too much going on on the plate. Smoked foie gras parfait sounds intriguing, but the smoke taste overwhelms the delicacy of the foie gras. Five other side ingredients detract from purity of the dish. Bison rib eye was cooked exactly as ordered, but again a multitude of side ingredients take away rather than add. The chef needs to get his timing down so people don't wait 50 minutes from time of order until the first course arrives. And simple down ALL the dishes!"

"Aura is a beautiful restaurant over the road from the creek side gondola. It was upmarket and the portions big. The service was impeccable with all the waiters buzzing around, very attentive"

"Not a super dining experience. Ambiance somewhat sterile. Service was friendly but not up yo exoectations for the $$$. We ordered the recommended seafood appie which was pretty tasteless. Wine list is sub par again for this type of dining and the waitress had no wine knowledge whatsoever. Dinner we had the osca busco which was ok. Dessert tiramisu which was also ok. This would be a better expefience had it not been hyped as a dining experience."

"One of the best dining experiences we have ever been out for. Our experience was exellent. From the delicious meal to the friendly and courteous staff it was a delightful night out for dinner. It was recommended to us by a local lady, and even though it was not right in the village we are glad we made the short trip to the Nita Lake Lodge for dinner at the Aura."
