The space is elegant, casual, yet refined. The design is modern, somewhat bold, yet inviting. A stunning new interior with warm rust colors, vibrant greens and modern accents to enliven the bustling dining-room and bar space.
Authentic and artful Provencale and Tuscan cuisine, complemented by a perfect balance of market fresh California stylings. Part of the menu offers classic dishes, the other rotates innovative, seasonal fare.
"It was almost too noisy. I couldn't hear the people I was with when they spoke. There were 2 tables of very loud talkers. Although they may have been loud to be able to make themselves heard. Not sure what happened. It didn't used to be this noise unforgiving. Maybe add some sound proofing? Food was good. Drinks excellent. Just too noisy to have a conversation. And I'm not noise sensitive."

"We enjoyed a lovely dinner at Zazou - the food was delicious, and the menu offered a variety of familiar favorites with a twist, like my yummy parpadelle with wild boar and portabello mushrooms! It is bustling and is a small restaurant, but it wasn't too noisy, and the only downside was that our waiter could have been more helpful with questions about menu items and more on top of things as far as refilling beverages. That said, we have a wonderful dinner and will be visiting Zazou again."

"Food superb. Service as well. "Floating island" dessert was exceptionally light and lovely. My third time there, never disappointed but tho't this time that the price on the seared ahi was too high for the four squares of fish: $30?"

"Great food and great service in a friendly atmosphere. We were in the first group seated for dinner. This was our first time at Zazou and the guests at other tables called out to greet each other, obviously either neighbors and/or regular customers at Zazou. In both cases, always a good sign."

"The service could not have been better, just attentive enough without being overbearing. The food was delicious, led by the burrata appetizer, which just melted in our mouths. The pumpkin ravioli and short ribs were equally fabulous. Nice, welcoming ambiance. We did not sit at the bar but could see that it was lively."

"Food was good, even if I was not very impressed by the flavor of my roasted duck(pretty much blend)but my risotto was good. The filet mignon of my wife was a perfect medium rare and warm,my infuse pineapple cocktail was very good and so was our sushi appetizer, our waiter was polite but was not able to read us or to connect with us :no real suggestion like matching our wines with the menu beside reading us the special from her note-book...At the end our bill was $140 for 2 and that was fair enough for the night. Nothing really special but nothing really bad too..The bread that was served has been removed from the freezer before and re-heated;I was surprised by that: you can tell the old "standart" of "Cafe Pierre"-"Guy" are gone."

"disappointed, service and food have gone down hill since last there. Made Reservations, but had long wait to be seated. Maitre d unorganized and appeared to let walk-ins have as much priority as people with reservations. Had to speak to him twice before being seated.
Will not return"

"We came for Saturday brunch and though the menu is a bit more limited, it is so varied that everyone was happy and satisfied with the choices. The moules frittes were perfectly cooked in a white wine sauce that had been reduced to a wonderfully seaso Ed dipping broth. Warm bread starts the meal. We had a great French Chablis. The others ordered a spicy polenta dish topped with filet mignon and poached eggs, and a penne dish with a spicy tomato sauce and chicken. The service is always friendly and attentive and it's frequented by locals who know good food and wine."

"The reservation was at 8pm. We arrived at 7:50pm. We didn't get seat it til 8:30pm. I understand it was a busy night. We didn't start eating til 9:15-9:30. The food was ok. There signature "rib" dish: the meat was dry."

"Zazou was a disappointment. They seated us on the 2nd floor and it was very cold. Multiple people asked to be reseated and my wife was forced to wear a heavy jacket throughout dinner. The salad cost %15 and it was mainly lettuce, with a few tomatos. At $6 it would have been overpriced. The entrees weren't very tasty and the portions were small. The salmon was mediocre at best. The only positive was our server, he was great. Oh yeah, the bread with dinner was very good. I wouldn't go back to Zazou."

"Zazou is a new favorite whenever we have out of town guests. The food is always fantastic! I had the scallops during this visit and they were sensational. The martinis are also amazing!"

"Well-sized menu with Italian and French influences. A good selection of seafood options. We went on a busy night, which may have influenced the service. Waiter was helpful and polite, but did seem to be running behind. Entrees arrived together and everyone was very pleased."

"Saturday brunch menu gave lots of options. Food was flavorful and service was friendly and prompt. The desserts were overly tempting so we had to try two different ones just to explore. They were excellent - I'm a fan of the floating island."

"Enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Zazou last night. Standouts were the baked goat cheese salad, roasted duck, and bread pudding. Portion sizes were generous and service was attentive."

"We enjoyed the atmosphere with background music not too loud which added to the ambiance. We both had fish entrees which were excellent. We were told the salads were small so we each ordered one, and wish we had shared one salad. We like restaurants were we can actually speak to one another, so this one was great. We did have an early meal, about 6 o'clock. The restaurant is very comfortable and attractive in a low key, sophisticated way."

"Everyone enjoyed their dinners. As a group of 8 "foodies," we shared some bites. The standout was the Braised Lamb Shank (although the Moroccan Spiced Barbecued Salmon was right there also!) Nice decor, great staff. Only caveat, we booked with Zazou seeing it on OpenTable as a $$ restaurant (because it was a corporate payed event.) Zazou is a $$$ or $$$$ establishment. I might add, it is up to par with any other $$$$ dining event."
