Hussong's Cantina & Taqueria opened in 1892 in Ensenada Mexico. Hussong's invented the Margarita in 1941 by bartender Don Carlos Orozco. The name Hussong's has attached itself to chili cook-offs, tee-shirts, bumper stickers, beer, wine and tequila. Laugh and sing along with the rock 'n' roll mariachi bands or enjoy an Original Margarita. Whenever you visit Hussong's you perpetuate the legend.

"This restaurant has two things going for it...great food and strong drink! The noise level was LOUD, in no small part due to the excellent Mariachi band that played in various locations throughout dinner. Not fine dining by any means, but then, it doesn't pretend to be.....good food is what it's about!!"

"Everytime I go to Vegas, I stop by this restaurant. Food is great and ambiance is really cool. This year we stopped for Cinco de Mayo and it was a wild mexican party. We really enjoyed it !!! We will be back !"

"This was the worst dining experience on our Vegas trip. Margaritas were great and atmosphere was fun, so it is a good place to go for a few drinks rather than dining. Service was quite slow and server was often nowhere to be fund."

"Came to Hussong's for a birthday dinner before a concert at the Mandalay Convention Center. Service was efficient. Food was tasty. A great spin on traditional Mexican food. Drinks were great. Ordered the Blackberry Ginger Margarita and my party ordered the El Pepino margarita. Both delicious! Love that they have a vegan/vegetarian menu!. I ordered the veggie torta; others ordered a carne asada tostada and the stuffed avocado salad. Everything was spot on. Also, there was a live Mariachi band. They serenaded the birthday girl (and were very talented)! Great spot for a quick meal and drinks. I would return and/or recommend this spot."
