"The place is adjacent to the Wyndam and has a nice ambiance. I liked the photographs of musical legends on the wall -- it goes nicely with the restaurant's proximity to the performing arts center. However, the food choices were not very good. My chicken was quite oily and my date's food was overcooked."

"Nice new bar...noise spills over into the restaurant. Meals are moderately priced compared to other restaurants in the area. You get what you pay for in this case."

"We had tickets for "Wicked" and wanted to make a special evening. The Silver Trumpet did not disappoint. We had great seating by the window, enjoyed a beautiful meal with all the trimmings then just walked across the street to the theater."

"The menu was limited, but the offerings were good (mainly seafood). Even though the servers knew we were going to the theater (so we needed our food quickly), the food came up a little slow and the desert took over 10 minutes for them to bring it to our table. Since there were only four other tables, it seems like the food could have come up sooner. We would go again if we are going to the theater."

"We went for lunch - there were 3 other tables however the service was very slow. From the time we sat down, it was 35 min for soup, salad, sandwich and appetizer. The waiter was gone most of the time talking to a individual at another table. Most people come here I suppose because you can get your parking validated and then walk across the street to OC Performing Arts."

"Our party of eight chose this restaurant from the Segerstrom web list for dining in their neighborhood. Servers were pleasant and attentive but the food service was slow (very few other guests) - with an 11:15 reservation, we had to run to make 1pm show. Food served was good but did not match menu, such as fries instead of homemade chips, although when it was questioned, a serving was given in a take-away box. Space was lovely and inviting. Parking was easy - free w/validation and we didn't have to move to attend theatre, walking easily across the street. Enough positive things that we would give it another try!"

"Hostess was not at her station and there were no signage as to where to wait. We had to walk to the waiter's station to get assistance and he directed us back to the front to wait for the hostess. Service was very slow. Food arrived under-cooked and not as described on the menu."
