"This is one terrific restaurant. the menu is short, but there are specials. The owner/chef recommended the sole Francaise and four of us ordered not. it was luscious! The eggplant parm appetizer, which three of us shared two of, was equally great. Chef was wonderful and friendly as was the wait person (his wife?).
It was a truly delightful evening."

"The outside and location looks like it will be an average everyday Italian spot. That all changed once you pass through the door. This family operated restaurant is the most welcoming and friendly spot I've been to in a long time.
The chef greets you and helps you to your seats. He's the one that explains the specials and answers any questions that you have on the menu. His appetizer suggestion was the eggplant parmigiana. My girlfriend eats eggplant parmigiana at every Italian restaurant we go to and this is by far the best either of us have ever had. We could go back and have this as our appetizer, dinner, and even more to take home for later. The rest of the food was just as amazing (would write more, but ran out of space)"

"Simply the best Italian. It is the most authentic in Boca, and absolutely delicious. Get the eggplant, it's the best I've had--and I spend 4 months living in Italy! The owners are also the best, you feel like you're eating dinner at your cousin's house! Great experience."

"This was our first time here at Piccolino. A small, neighborhood Italian restaurant where from the moment you get there you are treated like family. No request too small or too difficult. Question - Which would you choose the veal marsala or the penne a la vodak; answer from owner - simple, I will give you the veal marsala and prepare some penne a la vodka on the side. Both excellent. Also ordered veal parm special and it was excellent. Small, neighborhood Italian restaurant where the owner and his team go out of their way to make you feel welcome. A must try."
