"We found most of the food very disappointing, especially for such a high-end place. The starter olives were mushy and the pickled veggies very uninteresting. The beet salad had a too tart yogurt dressing that wasn't balanced. The combination didn't work. The salmon with the pesto was good but the artichokes underneath were so tough that I couldn't really eat them. The broth that went along with them had a flavor that didn't go with the salmon at all. My husband had the raviolis and liked them. When I made the reservation they were very good about asking about allergies and special occasions but the information was never passed along to our server. He had no idea that I was gluten intolerant or that it was my birthday."

"Located across the hall from Marinus, this location has a much more casual feel - like a cafe or nice bar - with a large outside seating area in addition to the inner area.

Made a reservation for dinner at 16:45 through dinner - Wickets stops lunch at 15:00 and doesn't start dinner until 18:00. Nevertheless, the staff was happy to seat us on arrival and provide a menu of great wines and fantastically unique cocktails to sample until dinner.

Like Marinus, the dinner menu changes daily so the one listed here may not be what is available. I had my heart set on a duck breast and risotto dish listed here but not available and they were happy to oblige!

The staff was wonderfully attentive and the food was spectacular! Well worth it!"

"We always enjoy the food at Wickets Bistro but the service has gotten sloppy. I honestly don't understand why management allows employees from other areas of the property to cluster behind the bar tasting different drinks, watching sports on TV with the sound blaring, texting and joking around. It distracted the server from doing his job and intruded into our dining experience. The service didn't come close to measuring up to the quality of the food."

"Bernardus became our home away from home while we were searching for our 2nd home (vacation home). We were always so comfortable with the employees who always remembered our name. We love Wicketts and Marinus both of which we've eaten at often. With ressies the other night for 4 for my husbands birthday, we knew our daughter and boyfriend would love it. Had to wait for a table while offered a pdrink while waiti g. Never received it. "Your table is ready now, why don't I bring your drinks to your table". 4 drinks do not take 15 minutes. The beginning went fine but why it would take 45 minutes for our entree is beyond me. Dave said the kitchen messed up. Ultimately it falls on Dave to make sure it runs smoothly. 3 1/2 hrs for dins? No thanks."
