The Melting Pot - Boise
At the Melting Pot we specialize in fun and interactive four-course fondue dinners, great for every occasion. The fondue experience begins with a savory cheese fondue prepared tableside, followed by your choice of fresh salad. For the main event, choose from a wide variety of tantalizing meats, seafood, and fresh vegetables, certain to please even the most particular of palates. Then cook them tableside in one of our savory broths or even in traditional oil. All of our entrée selections are paired with our famous house dipping sauces, including the garden fresh green goddess, our sweet teriyaki glaze, and the tangy ginger plum sauce. And just when you think it couldn't get better, the grand finale: a choice of decadent chocolate fondues presented with a platter of sweet bits for dipping.

"The Melting Pot in Boise was wonderful. I went for Mother's Day and was greeted many times by staff with Happy Mother's Day. They brought me a Mimosa free of charge that was very good, dinner was amazing and when we where getting ready to leave my waitress brought me a box of chocolate covered strawberry's. The staff was great and so was the food!"

"Dining at the Melting Pot is an experience each and every time we go. I love being "served" when I go out to eat. My friends and family joke about the fact that I like dining out to be an event. And that's how it is at the Melting Pot. Great food and wine on top of all that!!! Plus the atmosphere is perfect for talking and laughing with friends and family. I would recommend this place to everyone!"

"Took my wife out for our anniversary dinner here. As always they were great! Great food, great service and special touches. To begin the dessert course they suprised us with a cute " Happy Anniversay" plate. This place just really knows customer service!
The only reason I deducted a star is we were the only people in the place, as we were dining early, yet they placed us in a back corner booth that was waaaaay to small for two people. It really was only suitable for one person. Yes I could have (and should have) asked for a different table but my bride doesnt like it when I do that. In my opinion that booth should not be used for anything other than one diner."

"Have been before but saw your spring break special and thought cool bring the kids. Bad idea never do that again or will never recommend it too anyone ended costing 232 dollars for dinner. No special there. So the kids special was just meat. Really ya you eat your meat while me and dad eat our cheese fondue salad and chocolate fondue. Whatever. Will never be back again. Great special there."

"This was our first time here, and we had high hopes for the romantic evening. Our waiter was good up through the point of ordering our meal. After he brought us our food, he disappeared. After we finished our meal, which took about an hour, we sat for another twenty minutes without seeing our waiter anywhere. We had to ask one of the other waitresses that was working her tail off for a dessert menu. After deciding on dessert, we had to wait another fifteen minutes for our waiter to come to the table. This made the dinner take nearly two and a half hours. The food wasn't as remarkable as we heard it would be, and for the price and service we won't be going back."

The music could have been a touch lower or a touch quieter...but that is the only comment to possibly make that was not perfectly positive! Everything else was spot on!
We were so thrilled that we went home and purchased a cookbook online put out by the Melting Pot Restaurant Inc., and then found a fondue set to experiment with...."

"I'm REALLY happy we went for dinner this evening. I hadn't been in since the new owners took over. The waiter was great and while this is more of an adult friendly place they now have a kids menu so they can have their own fondue entree which made my 6-year-old estatic. He loved cooking his shrimp and the chocolate even more. I especially love that the restaurant is open longer hours now which makes dining with my family perfect. We can be in and out before the couples come in but still enjoy the restaurant."

"This is a favorite for my boy's birthday dinners and a nice downtown location. Excellent servers, match their tone to each group _ muted for date, friendly for family , joking for table of teens."
