Locally inspired cuisine set in a casual bistro atmosphere. Chef Nicholas Cassatari combines his classic training, top tier experience, and world travels with the best of B.C.’s bounty to create the fine flavours at Alta Bistro. Owners Edward Dangerfield and Eric Griffith strive to create an effortless, casual service in the dining room and bar. Wine director, Eric Griffith, brings his wine passion and training together with a concise, international wine list of 50 labels (20 by the glass) with Whistler's only Enomatic machines dispensing fine and eclectic selections to pair with Alta's food. Edward Dangerfield and Scot Curry combine mixology talent to create some of Whistler's finest cocktails, handcrafted and have raised the bar on sustainability. Alta Bistro's intimate bistro setting is small and off the track in Whistler's village, but is busy and lively, so reservations are a must.
