"This is just an average restautrant but waaaaay too noisy. They have a live band with singer that is so loud you cannot carry on a conversation with people at your own table. In addition to the band, they have piped music playing on the patio which should be turned off. Very distracting to have two sets of music playing at the same time. They have very good margaritas, but the food is just fair and a tad pricey for what you get."

"We booked a reservation since we had 4 adults and 2 kids in our party and I specifically asked for an outdoor table so the kids could play on the playground. When we arrived, the main patio dining was occupied by a private party so they put us on a different patio off the bar. While it was fine (no playground but still outside), we had to go in and ask for service since it appeared no waiters were assigned that area. While our food was excellent, the service was very slow which with 2 kids was not pleasant."

"The service is consistently terrible. We've been a number of times and we always have to run down our waitstaff. Even when it's not super busy. It's a great spot to have a good brunch with children, one of the rare ones that accomodate both, but the service seriously needs improvement."

"I was so impressed that the hostess called to let us know that a large party was still going on at the time of our reservation. She suggested an outside location or whatever else would accomodate us. She didn't have to do that and I was so very impressed and grateful. By the time we arrived, our table was ready and the large party had left, so all was well. But I've never had a restaurant care enough to call ahead. That was special and very much appreciated.
Good food as always! Excellent service. A favorite!"

"We visited the restaurant for Mother's Day. As opposed to last year ( or two years ago), they seemed better organized for Mother's Day. This time we were not rushed and the waiters were attentive. Also, the hostesses this time around were nice. A couple of years ago, they had a pretty rude hostess. The food was great and they offered several options. We just wished they offered the regular menu items for lunch and not just the brunch buffet as the only option. Overall, good experience this time."

"As my clients choice was to go to your restaurant, I personally would not re-visit. Too buys, noisy and not a good place to discuss anything of importance. Food was good, restaurant, clean, but service was slow. Actually we could not locate our server half the time, even when paying the tab, I flagged a different server. If my choice, I would not return."

"I made a reservation for lunch at 12:30 pm and when we arrived to the restaurant we found out it opens until 2 pm even though in open table the 12:30 pm was available.
The waiter took us to the table and after checking the menus the manager came to our table and in such a rude manner told us to leave."

This visit was for a birthday celebration for two friends, and they could not have been more accommodating, helpful and friendly. "The restaurant bar area was pretty loud but the seating area was fine. There are many, many Mexican Restaurants in Houston. If you want to be memorable, it has to be really, really good food. Food was just o.k. Don't think I would host a business dinner there again."

"Their outdoor area is beautiful, super kid friendly- bounce house on Friday night, however food was not so great- reheated fajitas, slow service on drinks( food came out before our water!), all food was not tasty. Nice waiter but very slow service. Not good margaritas. Would not recommend. This is our second time there with same comments both visits. Too bad because its a beautiful restaurant."
