"Our first time dining at this restaurant located in Loews Portofino Bay hotel was a very good experience. We went with our 2 children and were pleased to see they had a kids menu. The rosemary bread with roasted garlic-infused olive oil was amazing and that set the tone for everything that followed. The 2 adult entrees we had were the spaghetti and pollo parmiagano, which were both excellenr with generous serving sizes. They had an extensive array of wine, beer, and cocktails to choose from as well. We were too stuffed to try an desserts."

"Ambiance is unique and classic. Could be very romantic on less busy nights. Food is ALWAYS WONDERFUL. Every dish is their best dish. Singers come by every table and they're quite good. The house wine is perfect. Dinner for two with a bottle of wine is normally around $100. Totally worth it!"

"This is my second time eating at this restaurant. My fist experience, a few years ago, was not a good one. I did not review at that time because I wanted to give it the benefit of a bad day. However, this most recent visit was EXACTLY the same. First and foremost: the food is subpar. We had a better meal at the Orlando airport. A step above cafeteria food across the board. Limited menu, small portions, inferior grades of food. Loved the strolling opera singers. That was the only portion of the experience we found positive. We sampled wine, appetizers, pasta, fish, etc. Even the cannolis were horrible. Who ever leaves a cannoli on the dish????? $250 for 3 persons. Absolute waste of $$$$$"

"Had to wait for a table despite being several open tables for our size party when reservation time came. Waitress very hard to track down. Didn't check up on us at all after food was served. Took several minutes to find her to order second glass of wine. Antipasta plate arrived without any cheese (supposed to be two kinds) and waitress accused us of eating it when we were able to find her to inquire about it (tacky). Menu was more limited than what was on Loews own website (e.g. no risotto). Calamari good, chicken parmigiana good, ravioli not good, antipasta plate not good (even after the two types of cheeses were added). On the plus side, singers were great. Probably our 5th visit, but last until the memory wears off."

"The pasta is great the rest is average.
Attention to detail was none existent .I order flowers for our anniversary
And had specifically requested to place flowers on table prior to our arrival.
Although they had seen my request ,through the open able reservation,
upon our arrival I had to ask about the flowers ....no one knew anything!!! I believe they misplaced
The flowers and through out the evening they became annoyingly
disturbing by their continuous apologies.
This is definaty not the service that I have experience nor expected , based on my other stays with Lowes resorts."

"The restaurant was cute with a very family, Italian atmosphere, but the food was nothing great. The fish (sea bass) came out with the skin still on it, and had no taste. The chicken parm was nothing to write home about either. Could have gotten better chicken parm from the local pizza shop. Overall, the food was way too overpriced for the value of it. Also, the waiter didn't take our order until we were completely done with our appetizers. I think he actually forgot that he hadn't taken our order until we finally said something about it to him. It seemed that they were very low on staff."

"The lowes hotel itself has an Italian feel. Spend some time there before or after dinner. Mama Della's was great! Food and service were outstanding. The singers were a nice touch as well."

We asked for the vegetarian menu, and were given the dessert menu.
I was told the risotto would take a bit because they had to make it fresh (I'm not sure how they had it on the menu but didn't expect anyone to actually order it)
We had our plates cleared and we waited 15 minutes for our bill.
This was a little too pricey for service like this. I get better service at a chain."

"Good food while still being allergen friendly. Lance was an awesome server. Chef came out to be sure he understood allergens and food was fabulous. The wine was delicious and not overpriced. The singers were cute ambiance while recognizing we had no desire to be sung to at our table and so they just kept moving. Very professional from start to finish."

"I was expecting another poor attempt at "Italianesque" but was delighted that everything from the decor to the food things were quite authentic. There was NO PROBLEM ordering a meal that was not on the menu! The meal was incredibly outstanding in a city famous for mediocre food. A guitarist and two vocalists gave great entertainment without being oppressive. The wine seemed a little expensive, but the portion was huge, and made it on the cheap side of reasonable - and the house Cabernet was terrific! I cannot recommend this place highly enough, as it is an exceptional value from all respects."
