Ventuno is an island restaurant inspired by the frascas of Italy, small farmhouses which opened themselves up to friends and neighbors with wine and homemade food.
Chefs Gabriel Frasca and Amanda Lydon delight in imagining Nantucket shellfish, fish and produce in Italian hands. House-cut pasta and simple takes on the bounty of sea and land are complemented by a wide-ranging wine list from the world over, including Italy, France, Spain and California.
Drink and eat our entire menu on either dining room floor or bar, or the open-air back bar, with comfortable service and the inviting breeze of the ocean.

"Excellent service and a deft touch on sauces and spices make this relatively new restaurant in Downtown Nantucket a welcome addition to the island''s restaurant scene. Standouts including the small plates (oysters topped with Meyers lemon ice, a tender seafood fritto misto) and desserts although the entries held their own. Very responsive and friendly service."

"This is the second season for this restaurant and all four of us had absolutely delicious meals. Expensive, as are most restaurants on Nantucket, but outstanding. Only complaint was mediocre service which I find at many of our eating establishments. Living here year round we go to many of Nantucket's restaurants and I can say they are all outstanding."

"They have come a long way since they opened. The food and service were excellent and we will be sure to be back. It can be noisy/lively if you dine on the first floor, My only possible complaint is that the wines by the glass were pretty mediocre, both the chard and a pinot noir."

"The food was great - the pasta was cooked perfectly. The pork sauce delicious. The fritto misto was so tasty. The entrees were nicely presented. Black bass was interesting paired w farro fennel and mussels. My husband enjoyed a nice osso buco w saffron risotto."
