Table & Main serves cuisine that is "Simple, Seasonal, and Southern" in a beautifully restored homestead on Canton Street in the heart of historic Roswell, Georgia.
We open for dinner at 5pm Tuesday-Sunday, and we happily accept reservations for our Main Dining Room and our Family Table (8-10ppl). Our patio, porch and Front Dining Room are available on a "first come-first served" basis for walk-in guests.

"It was our first trip to Table & Main. It's a small restaurant, but very comfortable. The service was outstanding and the food excellent. The fried chicken is wonderful and we both loved the collards...the bourbon butter pecan ice cream should be against the law. We even noted that they had taken the time to add some sound baffling to the ceilings to help keep the ambient noise level down. We love conversation during dinner and too many places we go to are open with hard surfaces which amplifies the noise level. Table & Main is going to be a "go to" place for us from now on...just loved it. Note…parking can be a bit difficult...when you make reservations ask the person you speak to where you might find parking if their lot is full."

"We live within walking distance to this restaurant and visit on special occasions. The food is incredibly good; the service impeccable, it's just expensive for regular visits (~$180 for 2 adults/1 child; includes 2 glasses of wine, 2 entrees, and child ordering an appetizer for her meal). There is a large outdoor patio as well; so great during the early summer evenings.
I love the Cobia fish dish; and my daughter enjoys the meatball appetizer for her entrée. We have also had the burger (FANTASTIC!) and the fries are extremely unique (fried potato wedges).
Last note; I've never had a vegetable here that I didn't like- even brussel sprouts- hats off to the chef!"

"I would never have guessed there was "Good Eats" in the Burbs! Table & Main was an unexpected surprise. The wife and I took a chance and decided to experience Historic Roswell for our six year anniversary. I had heard about Table & Main and how good it was from friends. Everything from the food to the service to the ambiance was as good if not better than restaurants in town, but with out the attitude. After dinner we stolled down Canton Street to enjoy the energy of the area. If the other restaurants in the area are as good as Table & Main I'm going to enjoy exploring them."

"Overall we had an enjoyable meal at Table & Main. We started with the hush puppies appetizer to offset the effects of the martinis we ordered. They were OK, a bit heavy (to be expected I guess with hush puppies) and we didn't finish them. We both had the scallops, and they were well prepared and tasty. My biggest gripe with the restaurant was the noise level, which was so loud (this was a Wednesday night) that I could hardly hear my companion sitting next to me. Canton Street is not very parking friendly, so we had to search for a parking spot for a while. For a quiet dinner with a little less background noise, I would suggest another venue. But overall the meal, while a bit pricey, was good."

"My wife and I were in Roswell early for a soccer game and I found Table & Main on Open Table. This restaurant is amazing!Smple southern cooking done to absolute perfection. The fried chicken is among the best I've ever eaten, and I've lived in the South all my life and eaten plenty of fried chicken. Service was stellar. WARNING: if you have an addictive personality do not, I repeat, do not eat the Bourbon Butter Pecan ice cream. Don't say you haven't been warned. We live in Gwinnett, not really close to Roswell, but I'm already plotting my next trip to Table & Main."

"We had already heard about this place from clients and good friends alike. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left everything was excellent. Try the Meatball appetizer, to die for. "Had eaten the fried okra here many times but this time is was very stringy and a number of pieces were unchewable.. Also, my wife had the eggplant and it was cold, chewy and no flavoring. I tried a piece and had to agree with her."

"We met friends for dinner and had a cocktail in the bar beforehand. The bar is small, but the bartender was friendly and helpful. We were seated indoors and the waiter was attentive, friendly and well informed about the menu. We ordered 2 appetizers to share, which was more than enough. The shrimp and grits were tasty and fresh, prepared with not too much cheese, the fried chicken excellent and the roasted brussels sprouts yummy. Had cherry pie and bourbon ice cream for desserts. There's so much more we want to try - we'll be back."

"We ate here for my husband's birthday with a party of 20 and they were very accommodating. The food & service were both excellent and the outside patio was perfect for everyone. "the food was amazing here. we had the hogs n quilts appetizer, which was a great dish to start. we had the fried chicken with kale and shrimp and grits as our entrees and both were delicious. the menu is limited, but it is very focused and they obviously put their heart and soul into the select dishes they do serve. seating is limited so definitely make a reservation. parking is also limited. instead of trying to park in their narrow allow, we parked in a public parking lot down the street and walked and that worked well. i would definitely recommend this."

"Thanks to my fellow reviewers I tried it out with some guests. We are all foodies and critical by nature. The atmosphere is pleasant enough -- Terra meets Manhattan. The service was excellent all night. The suggested wine pairings were unique and spot-on.
But, on to the food. I can recommend the grilled pork chop as the best I have ever eaten. They must use a smoke gun to get that much flavor. The grilled fish of the day was a small portion but good. The tomato and leek compote with it was excellent. The Bourbon Butter Pecan ice cream is must. The most unique and memorable thing we had all night is the Hog 'n Quilts. It's the chef's takeoff on BBQ sliders and slaw-- outstanding.
I got the impression Ryan Pernice knows what he is doing."

"Great and adventurous Southern food. To date, the best fried chicken I have every had...and I have tried a lot. Crispy, tender and flavorful without being over-seasoned. "As a girl who loves her bourbon, I was not only pleased by the bourbon, whiskey, and rye selections - I was impressed. The list had old favorites AND brands that were new to me, which I love trying whenever I get the chance. The menu was simple, brilliant, and everything we had was AMAZING. I rarely finish an entire dish when I go out, but I seriously could. Not. Stop. Eating - the food is just perfect. Our server, David, was awesome - definitely knew his stuff and made great suggestions on everything from beers to entrees. We couldn't have been happier with Table & Main as our choice for our date night - it blows the other Roswell restaurants out of the water. We'll be back soon!"

"3rd visit over the last 3 months. Food & service were very good. Menu changes by season so some of the "new" things were not as good as we have had in the past. Still good just not as good.
Great service and will be back again.
Only downside is the parking situation is terrible. Room for about 10 cars & only a 1 way drive in/out of the place."

"The food was top notch. I had the fried chicken. Perfect. Others in my party had the cobia (fish) and the goat ravioli. Both dishes were fantastic as well. Friendly staff. Super attentive. This place is a gem."

"A great atmosphere for that special occasion or just to stop by for the exceptional food this restaurant serves. Sitting outside on a perfect spring evening couldn't have been better with the combination of upscale Southern cooking, a good wine, and efficient, friendly, knowledgeable service. Would definitely return, and in fact already have reservations for another dinner! Think ahead, though, because this restaurant is small and fills up quickly."

"We visited Table & Main for a business dinner,the food was excellent and I can't wait to be back. We tried the veal, chicken and the fish; all of them were great choices. My favorite were the veal and the chicken.
Our server, David, was one of the best servers I have seen. Very professional, passionate and honest! His detailed descriptions of the menu items were great, we loved him so much he even got hugs at the end of our meal."

"This was first time coming to Table & Main. The food was very good, though a bit pricey.
The service was very good. If you are expecting large portions, you will not find them at this restaurant. The portions are on the small side, but then again, rich (high quality and high calorie)food is never in large portions.
We will be coming back because the food was very good and we all need to lose a few pounds and enjoy it."

"Never been disappointed. Shrimp and Grits consistently done to perfection. Preservation plate was very good with homemade sausage but as it replaced Charcuterie, we miss the pickled onions. Goat ravioli were done to perfection and memorable. Pork chop was lean and excellent. While the noise level can be a bit high, it is an old house with wood floors and plaster walls so the ambiance eclipses the noise. And the noise was people having a good time. Not a bad thing. Bourbon list is extensive and even if you don't partake, you will see the attention to detail that this place offers."
