"Treviso is one of our favorite Sarasota eateries. We are frequent visitors to the Ringling Museum and wouldn't consider visiting the museum without also grabbing a meal at Treviso. The food is always excellent and the service delightful."

"Food was great server was great only issue was I brought my grandmother and the tables wrre so cramped we had a hard time navigating our way to the table with her walker and it was a small walker. Everyone was wonderful about helping us it was just a little crampped. Wonderful food and service"

"Overall the food was very well prepared. The one complaint that I had was that when we were seated for dinner no one came to our table to take our drink order or great us for over 10 minutes. Had we not had tickets for the performance we would have left.

"This is my first visit to Trviso but I will be back. Everything was wonderful my only regret is that the portion of the short ribs I received was quite small and only was one piece. I would have loved a second rib yet now I am hungry for more so I'll be back."

when we asked questions about the menu , she acted as if it was annoying
Example : "does pasta dish come with a salad" her answer "no" said as
if we should know that.
We received our drinks and after her standing therecwaitedvfor our food order.
I asked " can my husband have the salad and
I'll take the soup that comes with the Capresse Pannini " she replied" no
It comes together on one plate" . Food delivered in less than five
minutes , mozzarella was not warm and soft in the middle , pasta was
mushy , sauce spicy , too thick ( a blob in the middle of the pasta) .
She never came back to table except to ask if we wanted the check.

"We had dinner before going to a play. It was the perfect location for that. We had the small plates. There was enough food and a little room for a wonderful dessert. Our only problem is we sat outside and the sun was blinding, We did like it outside because it was not as noisy as inside.

"I have no problem with the ambience, the food or the service. I do, however, have a problem with the restaurant's billing practices. When you use a credit card, they ring up the charge with an additional 15-20% for gratuity without any notice on the menu, the bill as presented, or anywhere in the restaurant. I prefer to leave a cash tip and no put the tip on the credit card. Even though a clearly mark what I sign as having left a cash tip, they still add the extra charge although it is not what I sign for. I have talked to the management about this and they usually correct the charge, but continue to follow the practice. I am considering not returning there."

"Treviso is at the Asolo theater. Virtually everyone arrives at 6 pm for the Theater at 8. Service is very good but a bit hectic, but it is amazing that the kitchen can provide outstanding food for everyone in such a short period of time. Prices are also reasonable, especially for the quality of the food. We recommend anyone going to the theater have dinner at Treviso first."

"Surprisingly poor quality of food - perhaps because we were dining early. And the server, while pleasant, was often not around (strange as the restaurant was quite empty until near the end of our dinner).
We would recommend Treviso mainly because of it's convenience to Asolo, but probably warn that it's mostly "atmosphere" that one is paying for."

"We were outside so the noise level was fine. However when we entered it was very noisy and the setting inside is rather cafeteria like. The outside area is lovely, however the tables are small and the service was spotty.

"Huge disappointment at a favorite place. I had noted that it was my guest's birthday in my reservation request, asking if the greeter or server might wish her happy birthday. Nobody send a word to my guest.
The bread was not only cold but also stale. We had to request glasses of water more than three times.
My steak was outstanding. But the vegetables were cold. I was brought warm potatoes and ate cold beans.
Despite noting theatre at time of placing order, we had to stand up and chase down check to sign or be late for theatre."

"How can a restaurant be so lovely and the food so wonderful and still be part of a museum complex? Treviso accomplishes all those aspects and more. Whether it is the luncheon I enjoyed this week or dinner last month, Treviso demonstrates excellence every time I visit. Can't wait for my next Ringling Museum visit."

"A very nice location with excellent preparation and presentation. We were not disappointed. An excellent choice for those finishing a day at the Ringling Museum or for those attending a theater presentation nearby.
The grouper was nicely grilled and presented.
I was somewhat put-off by the server who sported what appeared to be a $1,000 bill contained in the inside cover of her portfolio. I'm not sure who that was supposed to impress."

"We waited over an hour for our meal and didn't have enough time to eat and make it to the show we were attending so we left before eating. Management was poor and full of excuses. We gave an hour and one half of time to be served and eat before walking next door to the event and they still didn't deliver."

"Service was way below poor. Food was not up to standards . I called the next day and talked to the manager, and he apologied and he gave me an email that is good for 3 free dinners, a bottle of wine and 3 tickets to our local Theater(plays). We will go back and we hope that the third time is a charmer.We had the bartender as our server. Management was on duty and he should have come by our table to see that everything was ok, and maybe things would have been better."

"Dining at Trevesio is so convenient to the Asolo Theatres and for museum outings that it is easy to loose sight of the other outstanding qualities. Oie server Lydia, was fantastic. She made our drinks and they were perfection, gave us plenty of time to visit with our guests, putting aside our limited available entrees so we wouldn't miss out. Food is good, nice ambiance and extremely convenient."

"We went for a pre-theater dinner. Service was slow, making us a bit rushed for the play even though we arrived at 6 for an 8 o'clock curtain. The food was just ok - the Caesar salad was bland and relatively tasteless, but the salmon was properly cooked and inoffensive. There's an extremely limited wine list with mostly mediocre choices. All it has going for it is that it's the closest restaurant if you're going to the Asolo Theater."
