Marché du Sud is inspired by markets of the Mediterranean region and their gastronomic specialties.
We are a gourmet French market, restaurant, bakery, and wine bar all under one roof.
Toward the front of Marché du Sud are homemade croissants, breads, pastries and tarts.
As you move along, our ceiling height wooden shelves are filled by gourmet olives, couscous, condiments, and soups you name it, we have it.
Toward the back cases of cheeses and charcuterie responsible for our nine variations of French pizzas.

"The menu (all pizza) was disappointing, and so was the service. They brought the wrong bottle of wine. The "outside garden" area in the back is delightful, but we wouldn't be coming back."

"Not only did we have to beg for menus at our large group but it felt as if they were doing us a favor to bring us the food. The waiter never asked if anyone wanted another drink. When we asked to see dessert menus they only gave 3 for a party of 10. Total attitude with a cherry on top. Portions are very small - and while the food is fine would never go there again - this was not the first time that I have been there,"

"I had visited there a few times, but the service was never good. This time, worse! Maybe it was because we sat at the patio, but someone should have checked us and others time to time. We had a hard time to order and get our food. After we ate our appetizers and waited for pizze for a while, our waitress asked us if we ate appetizers. Didn't she know what we were served? After we waited 15 minutes for our coffee, cheese and desert, no one seemed to bring anything. We could check with our waitress if she was around, but she or any other people came to patio for 15 minutes. We canceled our dessert and left."

"Great and diverse food. Never had such a great experience with french restaurant since I moved to New York City. Also, my girlfriend purchased some ''Pate de Campagne'' from the deli and it appears to be the best we have bought so far in the city. I will be back soon for another diner and expected to try some different plates and wine."
