"The service was amazing, the manager there is a very smart and nice guy. The food was also out stand, although i found it to be a little small. Although this wouldn't be the restaurant i go to on a weekly bases (mostly because of the portion of food served and the price) it would definitely be a very interesting place to go for special occasions and dates."

"We’ve been probably 20 times. Food is always excellent – this time was no exception. We got both specials – pizza and pasta. The pasta was chocolate pasta w/ lobster in a vanilla sauce. Sounds weird, but my wife loved it. We have had almost everything on the menu, so we usually get at least one special – the chef keeps coming up with special specials. Once again, we had issues with delivery of coffee and dessert. Once delivered they were both good. This is an ongoing issue and I brought it to the manager’s attention so hopefully they can correct. This is a very good place and we'll continue going."

"Food is always top shelf. All pasta is made in house as well as five mozzerellas, gelatos, sausage and some salumi. Pizza is made to order out of the woodfired oven and the dough is, of course made in house. The staff is friendly and understandably busy. Attention to detail with the dishes is a producrt of a disciplined kitchen staff. Italian wines are always a treat although I have a difficult time drinking a Brunello out of a juice glass. My only issue with this great place."

"Overall, we had a great experience. There were 2 large groups that came in, and even though our server was distracted by them, our server's assistant's were excellent. The chef comes out and greets everyone. I had the wood fired pizza...very good. My wife is gluten free, and her pasta choice was excellent, especially for gluten free pasta. The tables are pretty close together. I couldn't pull out my chair without hitting the people behind us. Our only complaint for this restaurant was the noise level. I could not hear my wife sitting across the table from me. It was also difficult to hear the servers and chef as well. Some soundproofing would be a good idea. Like I said though, overall it was a good experience, and we would go back."

"It is my pleasure to write a review on this wonderful, little piece of Italy in Woodstock, GA! My husband and I had our date night at Vingenzo's this past Saturday and it was just wonderful! Everyone was so friendly and the service was great.The food was straight from Italy and it was so fresh and tasted as if we were sitting in a little Bistro in Italy! We will definitely return for many more dates at this lovely, new discovery."

"Food well prepared. Great mozzarella, great pizza (love the char!!). Excellent service too. Only downfall is the ambiance. The lighting is wayyyyy bright (it was like eating on a stage or a runway!). I would suggest, if I may, turning the lights down low and put some candles on tables. It would really set the mood for fine dining right! Otherwise, great! I hope to be back!"

"We had a reservation for 8:00pm for a party of 10 as it was my wife's 40th birthday. We arrived at 7:55pm and stood outside waiting for our table until 8:45. As an attempt to make the wait better we were given a cheap wine/champagne that tasted like a sweet soda of which everyone poured most of in the bushes. Once in the service was mediocre at best. We had to ask from bread, one couple ordered a bottle of wine which the waiter proceeded to share withe the rest of the party, and it took forever for the food to come out. We didn't leave the restaurant until 11:00! The plan was to have an 8pm dinner and then spend the rest of the evening at Pure, Century Tavern and ICE. This certainly limited the rest of the night's events."

"Vingenzo's is one of those rare restaurants I would travel significant distances to visit. The in-house made mozzerella itself is worth the trip! Each pasta dish is better than the next and the pizza is absolutely amazing. Our waiter during this last visit, James, was extremely helpful, friendly and extremely knowledgable. You can tell he loves what he does, and he wants others to have the best experience possible. The best part is that after dinner, a real Italian capuccino, and gelatto, you can stop by the deli case and buy your mozzerella and other goodies to take home!"

"This was our first visit to Vingenzo's and it was WONDERFUL. The food and service was terrific. They were having a wine dinner the night we went, and the restaurant was crowded so we ate at the bar. Again, it was great and we really enjoyed it. The mozarella and pasta's are house-made and delicious. We tasted the gelato and it too was really, really good. I had a flatbread pizza and my husband had a pasta dish - both were fresh and flavorful. We'll definitely go back."

"Overall, nice restaurant. It was very noisy in there - they could use more soft surfaces (or dividers) to cut down on the loudness. Don't like sitting at tables where your neighbor is so close to you that you can hear everything they're talking about and vice versa. Also, they need to hire more servers! We were there 2.5 hours and in that time it seemed like there were maybe three (3) servers for the whole restaurant (along with some food runners); drinks/refills were slow getting to our table which is a bit of a doozy."

"Been to Vingenzo's manytimes. The food is ALWAYS good. I had the special Ossobucco Ravioli. Very tasty. We sat in a corner, at the seam between 2 waiters. While they seemed to think that meant we got "extra" service, what it really meant was we had so-so service - either they assumed the other waiter had us for the moment or there was confusion when both tried to bring drinks, bread, etc. We kept having to answer "I think the other guy's got it" when in fact he may or may not have had it.
Also, these guys have a seriously hard time dealing w/ after dinner dessert and coffee. EVERY time we go in there is some issue either w/ gelato or coffee. This time it was the coffee that did not come until we we were finished w/ dessert."

"We got the Gnocchi & the Sugo di domenica. They were both absolutely delicious, HOWEVER. The portion size was so small, probably 1 1/2 cups of food; they don't even bring any bread with the pasta dishes. The Sugo di Domenica is described in the menu as "six hour braised pork in San Marzano tomato sauce", yet there were maybe three pieces of pork. The pasta was well cooked.
Service as awful. We declined the pricier bottle of wine the server offered & I felt like she shunned us after that. Our water cups were empty from the time we got our entree until dessert. Unacceptable for a $75++ meal. They did give us free gelato as an apology.
The first time we ate here our experience was better, so we'll try again. To be fair, it was Vday week"

"A bit disappointing. Antipasto was very good but skimpy and/or over priced. Pizza was good, but why not cut into slices? Service began well, although the waiter was pushing more expensive wine, but went down hill after the order was taken. The waiter didn't come back to our table until he brought the bill."

"Eccezionale!!!!!!! I'm almost scared to say to many great things about this place because I want to be able to get a seat when we are in Woodstock! Our meal last night was perfection! The lobster in vanilla butter cream sauce was rich and decadent and matched up perfect with my wife's Pinot Grigio! I had the pizza pie with the homemade fennel sausage-amazing! They have a strong Italian wine selection and I splurged last night and got a bottle of the Reserva Palazzo Brunello, wow, if I could only afford to drink this on regular basis! This restaurant holds it own against and rises above many places in Atlanta! Bravo!!!"
