WaterScapes Restaurant at the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes
Executive Chef James Clark would like to extend a personal invitation for you to experience a fresh alternative in sustainable "Farm to Table" dining at Waterscapes Restaurant. Chef Clark is as meticulous about leaving carbon footprints on the environment as he is about the unique dishes he creates starting with the seafood hand-selected by the executive chef right off the fishing boats in Murrells Inlet. These fresh selections are local to only this area and include unique selections such as Hog Snapper, Rock Hinds, Trigger Fish, Black Bass and Amberjack. These delicacies are featured nightly on the "Fish Board" and are as fresh as you can get it. Other favorites include Crispy Oysters served with a Country Ham Leek Reduction. For non-seafood lovers, Clark rounds out the menu with items such as 36 Hour Short Ribs, Local Quail or Seared Tenderloin. Be sure to save room for succulent homemade desserts prepared daily by Pastry Chef Tina Spaltro.
"We went based on Trip Advisor reviews. It was nice...but since we went on a Monday night...I am sure it was not like it could have been. It was quiet...but the service was excellent. They accomodated my Mom and myself great. The food was good, but my dish was a bit salty. Overall, was a very good experience and I would try again."

Review 4 for WaterScapes Restaurant at the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes
"The ambience is beautiful....views of palm trees and the Intercoastal Waterway in the distance....The service is first class...wine fresh and delicious.... and the steak was cooked exactly as we asked it to be.....the waiter brought extra butter and a glass of ice which alot of waiters would neglect to do.... the mashed potatoes and the broccoli rabe were cooked perfectly as well.... and the bread delicious....they serve some crisp cracker type bread as well as the regular bread....and the water they serve is cold and filtered....
I have been there many times...."

Review 5 for WaterScapes Restaurant at the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes
"Good breakfast. Fair dinner. Too much emphasis freshness and where they got the food. Too little attention to making the food taste good. The Fudge Farm pork chop was dry and rather tough although ordered medium. Gnocchi were tough, lacked a sauce and were scattered over the collards. Nothing to add interest or much needed flavor. The beautiful three layer chocolate cake had icing that tasted like a commercial whip, the caramel was a dribble on top of the cake, and the toffee crumbles had poor quality chocolate. I threw it out after tasting it. Breakfast bananas Foster French toast was very good."

Review 7 for WaterScapes Restaurant at the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes
"Food was good. Appreciated the focus on local and sustainable items. Hard to find in the myrtle beach area. Food quality was good, not outstanding and a bit overpriced for what was delivered. We had very poor service. There were three staff running the entire dining area. We waited for a very long time for our drinks and our food and they mixed up our orders and checks. The restaurant has a great concept for a fine dining establishment but they need to work on its execution."

Review 10 for WaterScapes Restaurant at the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes
"Lacked any ambiance, only two waiters serving. Dined on a Tuesday evening. No one to greet or check you in. Food was very fresh and tasty. Quite costly. Scottish salmon and pork chop were presented well. Caesar salad nothing exceptional."

Review 11 for WaterScapes Restaurant at the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes
"Had a wonderful romantic dining experience post valentines day with my sweetheart. The food was very good, compliments to the chef. The service was okay, I believe we had a new waitress, she was forgot to bring back a taste of wine for my wife to try and she forgot to bring back more bread that the headwaiter had asked us if we wanted more of. It may have only been nerves, it was wonderful other than that."

Review 12 for WaterScapes Restaurant at the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes
"We were impressed by the service on a slow night. The menu was ambitious and the chef did a fine job on the seafood entrees. The final bill was a bit pricey but not unexpected"
