The Bistro at Gervasi Vineyard
Gervasi Vineyard & Italian Bistro offers Northeast Ohio a memorable destination for wine lovers, diners, families, businesses and tourists. Gervasi is one of the few special places where beauty, tradition, comfort and appreciation for wine and fresh food connect. Wine varieties are among the best in Ohio. The Gervasi Italian Bistro dinner menu ingredients are seasonally hand-selected and grown by local farmers. The property, vineyard, historic farmhouse, bistro, lake, landscapes, and the new villa project for overnight accommodations are picturesque from every view. Highlights include a marketplace specialty store, event pavilion, walking paths, outdoor dining and yard game activities for relaxation and fun. We do have a community table and upstairs lounge area available for walk-ins as well, with the full menu.

"I responded to another of your emails to me about the experience I had. I had my ministry's annual board meeting there at your restaurant with two other couples. I didn't take a survey of my guests but my dining experiencee was disappointing. You can refer to my previous communication to get the details. Not a big deal...I know that can happen anywhere...I just didn't expect it to happen at Gervasi's."

"This was our 10th anniversary dinner and we wanted something special and romantic,
The huge oaken front door had sculpted grape vines on it - so pretty. We were shown to a table
with oaken chairs and floors. Candles lit the scene, and soon we chose a bottle of their sweetest
white, almost like an ice wine minus the overcoming flavor. Only bad thing I can say is that bottle, over 20usd. was small and held
only one and one half glasses per person. The overall taste made up for this and we chose to bring a bottle home.
Food was fantastic, I had seafood - scallops melted in your mouth - while my husband devoured a wood fired pizza.
After dinner we walked by the lake and watched the swans. So romantic I would highly recommend it!!!"

"My husband and I recently dined at Gervasi for the first time and fell in love. The interior is stunning, the menu options plentiful and the actual meal was excellent. I had the bolognese, and it was the best I've ever tasted. I frequent many fine dining restaurants, especially in the Cleveland area, and Gervasi takes the cake on Italian, beyond Little Italy and downtown. Well, done! We'll be back, for sure."

"We have been to Gervasi many times and love going there. Sitting in the dinning area is a special treat but on Sunday we were seated in the lower level by the door. At least 25 people (mostly kids) went in and out of this door slamming it every time. The waiter had to let the people back in since the door locked behind them. It was 40 degrees out so the air was cold and the noise and traffic was annoying.

"My wife and I have been to Gervasi, at least 10 times in 2 years. We love the ambience, food, but the service is remarkable. On this visit Jeff served us. He is outstanding. Service here is always fantastic. This is the first time, that my wife wasn't completely enamoured by her meal. The shrimp and scallops weren't seasoned and served with rice and edamame, it wasn't very exciting. My pork chop was slightly overcooked, but seasoned well. Fortunately, we've had many meals that were amazing. We highly recommend Gervasi wines and attending the outdoor market on Wednesdays this Summer."

"Eating at Gervasi Vineyard is more than a meal, it is an experience. The food is very good and is reasonably priced, but the surroundings are amazing. It is like driving in my car for 45 minutes and having dinner in Tuscany. I enjoy having dinner at Gervasi Vineyard's with friends who are experiencing the place for the first time because the are always in awe of the grounds and the buildings. I highly recommend the place. It has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants."

"This is the third time we have visited Gervasi Vineyard in the past few months -- and it is a distance for us to go. We just love it! We visited it initially as a trip to hang around Canton and now make it a destination. The food is EXCELLENT! The people working there are very friendly and make the experience even better. I have put pictures of us at the winery and bistro and then everyone wants to go there when they are in town. So now it is a vacation destination for our visitors."

"Had reservations for 8:30pm, was seated within a timely manner. Hostess was very friendly. Food was excellent and server was delightful! Pasta portion for Tortellini was disappointing, this dish was excellent but the portion was lacking! Overall the experience was great, this will be a regular dining experience from now on! "The location is spectacular, the service was very good, the building is beautiful. That said, why can't they go the extra step and serve good food? The pizza was wet and undercooked. The wines were tasteless and the 'sparkling' lambrusco must have been sitting open for a while because it had lost its sparkle, if there had been any to begin with. Last summer I had lunch on the patio with a similar experience but decided to give it another try. Nothing has changed. "We enjoyed the Bistro at Gervasi's and had really looked forward to spending our 38th anniversary evening eating there. The pasta was really very good but the NY Strip steak was really hard to cut and hard to chew. From everything we had heard maybe our expectations were a little too high. Overall we had a good time but to be honest I'm not certain with so many wonderful places to eat that I would be in a hurry to return. Sorry."

"Gervasi is always a beautiful place to eat. The restaurant has great food (although a bit overpriced). I suppose you're paying for the setting in the price of the food, which is gorgeous. "Overall good experience for a special occasion. Great beginning and ending. The bruschetta was delicious and the gelato was great as well. The sauces on the entrees were special, but the salmon was a bit dry and the scallops were ordinary. I could taste the lemon marmalade on the shrimp, but the other sauce on the scallops was bland. Service was excellent. Very nice welcome and it felt like the staff appreciated us being there. Seating is rather tight and we got in on the neighboring conversations as several diners near us had been drinkers first. The noise level made conversation a challenge."
