Nuovo Restaurant is located on 92 Shrewsbury St, with ample parking in the rear of the building (Hill St), and complimentary Valet Parking service. Voted Best New Restaurant in Worcester. Serves Italian cuisine with Mediterranean flare, extensive wine list. It is a warm, friendly, food-focused environment. Perfect place to have dinner with family, a group of friends, or a date night. The 2 private dinning rooms with dancing floor and WIFI available are ideal for a seat down dinner up to 86 guests, or a cocktail party up to 150, and everything in between.

"We go to a nice restaurant 3 to 5 times each month. Nuovo has become our favorite Worcester area restaurant. My mother loves the lamb chops and she loves lobster. Recently Nuovo had a lobster special. My mother ordered the lobster for her meal, and the lamb chops to take home. The owner/chef came to the table and told my mother how he would prepare the chops so that she could put them in the oven for 15 minutes and they would be cooked just right. With the modest sized dining room it seldom becomes noisy. The food has been universally excellent and the service as well. The valet parking right at the front door is really appreciated. Nuovo has an intimate feel that is very welcoming."

"The food was excellent. I had the special and the waitress did not tell us the cost of special and we were surprised when we got the bill. My special was even higher than the most expensive food on the menu. I think that when the cost is that much ($33), the customer should be alerted of this. We would definitely go again but if I order the special, I will make sure I will ask the cost."

"Had two (2) great entrees. One from the menu - Costellette D'Agnello alla Griglia (Baby Lamb Rib Cutlets) and one special - the Italian whole Sea Bass.
Both were excellent. A very nice white wine from Tuscany (Pinot Bianco) went well with both dishes.
Excellent spot for pre-show dinner at the Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts, but not within walking distance; so leave enough time to park in the garage across from the theatre.
No time for dessert, so no information to give.
Our waitress and hostess were very nice.
The restaurant has a very-wide patio door open to the street for Al Fresco dining, but the traffic noise isn't very nice."

"This place is awesome. I highly recommend it to anyone. We went on a Saturday at 7:00pm and the place was packed. While they do seem to jam people in a little bit it was still romantic. If you were listening to the crowd it seemed a bit loud however it was not so loud that you could not have a conversation, but it was loud enough that even the table right next to you would not be able to over hear your conversation."

"First time at this restaurant and upon arrival we were immediately impressed with the decor. Great revival of this old building. Our server, Katerine, was prompt and pleasant. We ordered the calamari appetizer and it was delicious, perfectly cooked with just a hint of heat. After ordering our entrees we were informed that the surf & turf special was not available so my wife made a second choice. I ordered the spaghetti pescatore fra diavalo. Then the wait began. Appears a kitchen catastrophe occurred but our server stopped back repeatedly to apologize. The manager appeared with complimentary glasses of wine and finally, after approximately 40 minutes, our entrees arrived. Both were tasty and we will return but the wait tarnished the visit."

"We enjoyed our evening immensely. Our reservation was honored for the exact time we made it and we made a wonderful choice of restaurant. The meals were delicious and served in a timely manner, but in no way did we feel rushed. The wait staff was attentive, without being pushy.

"My 2 companions enjoyed selections from the restaurant week menu. They both raved about all 3 courses. I selected shrimp cocktail (outstanding--one of the best I've ever had!) and Mediterranean salad (also outstanding with many delicious ingredients). The 3 of us ate at Nuovo on Sunday afternoon after Rain at The Hanover Theatre. Nuovo's website states that 10% will be deducted from the bill when a Honover ticket stub is presented. Since the server knew we had just seen the show, I'm surprised she did not mention this. This is only my second visit to Nuovo, but it will not be my last!"

"I've been to Nuovo a few times. Each time the service, food and ambiance have been excellent. The food is just phenomenal - comparable to anything I find in the North End. I've had some great wines there and as I said, the service is imbecable. Their italian menu is of course strong but they also have good fish, steak and even a tremendous pot roast. "Drinks, appetizers, salad and main course were fabulous. We had the fried Calamari for an appetizer. We tried one of the specials Chilean Sea Bass with Mushroom ravioli and the Salmon with Cheese ravioli. Both were excellent. The staff was knowledgeable and attentive. We were too full for dessert. Look forward to our next visit."

"We had been to Nuovo once before and had great food and excellent service. However
When we tried it on Valentines day we were surprised to find that
there were only a few meal choices. Our server was not attentive and did not ask us if we would like to order drinks. She just asked if we were ready to order our meals. My water and wine glasses were empty for quite some time and our server never came by to ask if we wanted more to drink. We were disappointed and will not go there on a holiday again."

"My boyfriend and I went here for valentines day. I loved it! The Cajun scallops with Parmesan fondue is TO DIE FOR. even though there were only three pieces for twelve dollars which is outreageaous, they were so good we didn't even care. Both dishes we got (lobster Mac and cheese and mushroom ravioli over chicken Alfredo) were amazing. Even better, it was extremely quiet and comfortable. We had a great time."

"Though the food portions weren't satisfying for the price, it was very good. For an itailian dinner you'd expect more pasta and a bigger dish. And we had a hard time finding a parking spot due to limited parking space in the back. The plus side is that its beautiful inside, and very romantic if you are on a date with that sepcial someone. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our valentines day night at Nuovo. I would very much recommend this resturant!"

"My wife and I have been going to this property for 10-years -- from Cafe Amore, to Tribecca & now Nuovo -- We met here on a 'blind-date'! This was our 5th visit in the last 2-years -- twice to the bar (for a light meal), thrice for dinner. Nice atmosphere, but the bar area becomes 'loud' with only a few patrons. Service is never a problem -- staff is personable and knowledgeable. Food is always good, but never exceptional. My wife's 'capesante alla provinciale' over cheese ravioli was tasty but skimpy in portion. I started with their version of 'stracciatella' soup -- weak in body/flavor. My 6oz. 'filet napoleon' was delivered as ordered, with saffron risotto. Finished with a biscotti & a limencello digestif on-the-house. $147 total."
