"Our whole family loves Dominick's, since way back when the back patio used to be the parking lot, and we went in through the back door. It's fun, friendly, pretty, stylish- what else could you ask for? The food is always delish, it's really a wonderful spot, and the history of the place is always around taking us to another very cool time. Top of our list."

"The ambiance of both the interior bar area and the outside seating were fabulous. Nice cocktails and good table service with enticing sounding specials, one of which we got.
My only complaint would be with the hostess and the initial greeting service. Table wasn't ready as per our reservation time and when my wife initially followed the hostess as she walked toward the dinning room the hostess said, "you don't follow me," curt, and basically rude. Besides that, the dishes we had and our table waiter were great, just a little "too busy to deal with you" attitude at the front door rubbed me the wrong way."

"Overall, I would say the service detracted from the experience. The hostess was disorganized and our waiter was relatively absent. We were seated but it took forever to order. Once we got our food, we were left on our own. When we were almost finished eating, we were asked if we needed anything else so we ordered a couple more things and asked for bread. The bread never came and, though the gumbo did, it tasted burned- though the waiter never came back so we didn't tell him. As a New Orleans girl, the crawfish were a bit of a let down since a pound of crawfish was a pound including a potato and corn. Also 3 of my 12 crawfish had straight tails... and we don't eat those where I come from. Expensive for what it was and a bummer over all."

"This is the second time I used Open Table for this restaurant. The first time (about a year ago) they didn't bother to check us in with Open Table, so I didn't get credit. We had to wait over an hour that time.
This time we waited over half an hour! The service was slow. They had run out of salmon (if we'd gotten a table when we were supposed to, we probably would have had it. The dessert was supposed to be panna cotta for the special...my favorite dessert. When they served us dessert, it was vanilla ice cream smothered with whipped cream...not bothering to tell us they were substituting.
This is the only restaurant that has not honored Open Table for me!!!"

"Dominiks is both a faithful neihborhood joint and a cosmopolitan "milieu." It's one of our long-time regular places, and we go every 4 to six weeks, often with company. The experience starts when you're greeted by genuinely pleasant hostesses in the windowless dining room. Stop at the inside bar and the bartenders are always great. Proceed to the fabled patio with fireplaces lit, food, service and a charming manager strolling the floor, all amidst a setting that both open and cozy."

"Old school Italian fare so a little richer in taste (ie butter). Outdoor covered patio is large and comfy. Love the fireplace! The waitstaff was very attentive and friendly. Prices are a little steep and everything is a la carte which pushes the price up further. Overall I had a very good experience at Dominick's and would recommend this restaurant to friends."

The first time I had the Chicken Piccata which was not very notable but my appetizer was great but i tasted everyone else's dishes and they were all delicious. The second time I had the Rigatoni with Crispy Eggplant and it was delicious. Both times the staff was great and very inviting it added to the good time."

"Always love it at Dominicks. The outside patio is cozy with a fireplace and heating lamps so you can enjoy it year round. The service is always great and the food delicious! I highly recommend the frisee salad or the Italian wedding soup to start. And, definitely leave room for the peanut butter/chocolate chunk cookie in a skillet to finish!! Awesome."

"This restaurant was recommended to my girlfriend and I. We're visiting from out of town and were looking for a place to eat that had a fun atmosphere, good food and service.
