"I celebrated my birthday at Kobe and I absolutely loved it! The service was great and everyone was friendly. The staff is very organized and the chef was hilarious. I drove a hour and half just to eat at Kobe and it was worth the drive! I recommend this place for any special event you have, because they know how to make the host feel special."

"We try to eat at Kobe's every time we travel to Nashville. It is BY FAR the best Japanese Restaurant I have ever been to (and I've been to a lot of them). You can always count on the food being excellent. I have been several times and never been disappointed. This trip we even went to a very high end restaurant in Nashville and it didn't even compare to Kobe's! Kobe's is the BEST!!"

"We've been to quite a few of these Hibachi style restaurants and this is by far the priciest. The food was good, but not so much better than the others to warrant the high price of the meals. Yes, you did get a shrimp appetizer (2 or 3 cut up grilled shrimp) and you also got a choice of ice cream (vanilla) or orange sherbet, but I'd rather have those ala' cart and pay for them if I really wanted them."

"The reservation didn't amount to much. We (6 people) opted for 7:45. When I checked in the *snooty* staff asked if all of my party was there. We were but I could care less, we have a reservation and their valet was backed up. We were all present so I expected him to drop the attitude and seat us promptly. Nope, then you have to wait in the lounge area for about 30 mins, which is too loud to really talk. So now it is about 8:15 (umm.. don't ask if MY party is all there before making me wait in the lounge if YOUR table isn't ready when IT should have been). 30 more mins wait on hibachi chef. Had to take shoes off because of this. So my wife's Gucci shoes were out of sight. Dangerous game..."

"My boyfriend and I came for our anniversary and it was just okay. We made reservations and arrived early but still had to wait to be seated. This was to be expected because it was not crowded and I know they had to wait for other guests to arrive to fill the table. Once everyone was seated it took approximately 10 minutes for anyone to come back in to and even check on us. The show the chef put on was nice and the people at our table were nice but the taste of the food was not very appealing. I've been to Benihana several times, which is very similar to Kobe, but the flavor of the food is so much better at Benihana. I got the steak, shrimp, scallops and chicken...it was okay to try all those foods but it would have been that much better if"

"The food is great!! Try the Chicken and Shrimp in a white wine sauce!!! I grew up in Nashville, i've been to there a lot of times since i was little. Their soup and salad are authentic even their entres as well! I've tried many others around in Tennessee werent as authentic as Kobe's. Fun to watch! Theres a bar and low profile couches. Their cocktail drinks are great, but go easy on them!! They are easily addicted! Parking isnt a problem!! Best for romantic dates and even kids birthday! They sing birthdays in japanense! Fridays and Saturdays evenings from 5-7pm is packed! They open at 5pm. make reservations is highly recommended if you prefer to go on Friday or Saturday. Weekdays isnt problem to go!"

Birthday photo cake this year was a very special treat and we found ourselves making pictures and sending to our relatives throughout the country!
