"Tried the Scrambled Egg and Jalapeno Bacon Stuffed Relleno. It was, in one word, fabulous. I would definitely recommend it. The service was very good. It was Mother's Day and they did a great job of keeping things moving. My friend had the Chorizo and Scrambled Egg and loved hers too. Z'Tejas always does a wonderful job with their menu items, drinks, etc"

"Nice surroundings. Try to push beyond standard Mexican with mixed results. While barbacoa enchiladas were excellent, the roasted veggie tacos sounded better than their execution. Basically cooked veggies with little to no marinade in a deep fried flour tortilla and puco. No sauce or spice ti speak of. Fresh guac at the table was tasty, though I could have done without the crunchy pumpkin seeds.also overpriced. Margaritas were good. Not a bad option if you want solid Mexican/southwest but with wide variety."

"The noise level was horrific. Couldn't hear ourselves talk or think. The wrong salad was brought to me and the waitress kept repeating it was the right salad but someone had put nuts on it. The salad was replaced and the restaurant apologized but it would have been nice be offered a free dessert, etc. Realize this is snowbird season so will stick to going over the summer during happy hour when it is less hectic."

"The noise level was a bit loud and the service lacking. I ordered the Tortilla Soup and it came out lukewarm. The Chicken Chopped Salad was ok, but not as good as I've had at other Z'Tejas restaurants, namely in Tempe. The Tableside Guac was kinda salty. I also ordered a second margarita, but the waitress either forgot or didn't hear me."
