Located in the heart of SoHo, Hundred Acres offers a welcome respite for guests to enjoy a simple, delicious meal in a casual environment. Hundred Acres presents rustic American cuisine, crafted daily based on the market's freshest selections. Whether a salad of market vegetables served in a large wooden bowl or a grilled pork steal. Equally as affordable as the menu itself, Hundred Acres' wine program and selection of American micro-brews, served in 20 oz. bottles, complete the restaurant's accessible nature and sense of community.
"This restaurant is just great all around. It has an exciting ambiance, scrumptious food options, delicious bloody mary options, and great music selections that go along with the vibe."

"Wonderful, creative fresh food with more than a few nods to Louisiana. A fun list of unique beers, including of course, Abita. Huge wine list. Fast , cheerful and attentive service. Will definitely go back."

"We liked Hundred Acres when first there over a year ago......this time, however not so much. Been there and done that....you can get great interesting eggs and a salad just about anywhere in NYC....so why top it off with week-old dried out cornbread. blech....won't be back."

"I think they were training in a new waiter. The food took forever and came in such a fashion that I sure they forgot to put things in at the same time. One of the brunch entrees was cold. If I didn't really love this place wouldn't even bother writing this review. They have a great brunch menu and it is really worth trying. It just needs a veteran brunch waiter to handle such a boisterous environment."

"I loved Hundred Acres the first time I joined my girlfriends for brunch there. But every subsequent visit left me less thrilled about the food. I had the chilaquiles the last time I went....and they were lukewarm to cold and not as good as I remembered them. I could have sent the dish back, and they would have been happy to make amends, but it ruins the entire flow of your brunch -- your friends eat while you stare at their food salivating until your own dish makes a proper appearance. Anyway, restaurants that get so much buzz should at least get their food temperature right.
We shared pancakes at the end to have something sweet. They were great."

"Was looking for something uniquely "New York" but found it stuffy and no different to many other good quality restaurants. Food was very good but nothing spectacular. Very Limited vegetarian options"

"Met for lunch with a colleague I hadn't seen in ten years; lots of catch-up, and we stayed quite a while. The staff was wonderfully accomodating and pleasant. And keep that wonderful Russian waitress! I am probably grossly misspelling her name - was it shanya?"

"The food was excellent and the restaurant was very nice. We eat out multiple times a week and rarely ever complain about the service; however, this was the worst service I have experienced in NY. Our waitress was rude and uninterested in anything the entire night - she never once asked how our dinner was. We may return and give it another shot because the food and ambiance was very good."

"No wine cooler unless you ask for it, only to be told that our table was in an area where we could not have one because of space....even though we were in the corner, with no other diners around us."

"Thursday night dinner was superb. Every dish on the appropriately-limited menu was excellent - prepared with simplicity, care and delicacy, uniquely seasoned but not pretentious, delicious. Server was sullen as other reviews have suggested - but not inefficient."

"Good organic and local food, great drinks , and a very accommodating staff. Having been here before on my own, I brought a group of friends for dinner and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Try the 'Sparkling Acres.' It's a refreshing prosecco cocktail. There's also a nice back room for private parties. The best part: it's very reasonably priced for a Soho restaurant."

"Recommended this place from a friend, and was impressed! Decor is very nice as is the impeccable service. Had an entree of the octopus which was delicious, very well tenderized and good flavors.
Wine list is extensive and well priced. I had the Lamb whilst my friend had the beef wagyu, with a side of brussel sprouts. Quality was excellent however my only complaint was that both the lamb dish and the side of brussel sprouts was heavily salted, to the point of of nearly sending it back. Apart from that minor issue, would definitely come back."

"Excellent location and ambiance. Love the space and decor. Food was so-so and there was clearly an issue in the kitchen as plates came out sporadically. Not going to cut it in NYC."

"Wonderful food and good service. A bit picky on seating for the reservation - I had made a reservation for two and arrived slightly ahead of my friend, but the front desk would not seat me until she arrived, even though there were tables free."

"this was our second trip to Hundred Acres and it didn't disappoint. we have only been for brunch, and would happily return again every weekend! the ricotta fritters are amazing; as is the goat cheese bread pudding with spinach and poached egg. The only glitch was the poached egg was slightly over cooked."

"The menu varies often so there is always something new and fabulous to try. Such a cool and relaxed atmosphere to tuck in and enjoy an evening with friends. It's a place I NEVER pass up when in Soho. But more importantly....DO NOT pass on desert!!! The brioche bread pudding is beyond amazing!"

"The server and the Chef were very accommodating by their agreeing to prepare an off menu item for our vegetarian diner. But I wish they would have regular menu items for them. My lamb shank was excellent and the appetizers were well-received by all. A nice place."

"Our group was seated promptly at the time I had made the reservation. We had a very enjoyable brunch with delicious entrees (the goat cheese bread pudding with poached eggs was decadent and outstanding). Only downside was the inattentive service -- our server twice forgot our drink orders and didn't bring one round until 20 minutes after we had ordered (by then we had finished eating), without even an apology."

"I actually had the best scrambled eggs I have ever had this past Sunday at Hundred Acres. THe Grits were memorable and the fries were outstanding. The brunch was so stellar I had to go back for dinner 3 days later. Equally stellar. We had great service, weren't rushed and couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more either time."

"My only issue was that we made a res and they weren't quite ready when we got there (which is fine) and said we could grab a drink at the bar to wait. Then they didn't walk the 4 feet from the hostess stand to the bar where we were standing to call for us and gave our table to someone else. I had to go back and say, Don't forget about us! She said they tried to find us, but clearly didn't. We ended up having to wait another 15-20 minutes for a table to open up. Luckily the food was so good when we finally sat down, but the hostess situation could have run a bit smoother."

The food was great and came out in a very timely manner and the staff were all so lovely, happy and helpful! I'd recommend this restaurant to any one looking for a great place to eat!"

"Overall the ambiance was nice. It was a bit noisy but par for the course for the city. We had a group of five. All were happy with their food selections except one who ordered the tuna dish. It was very dry, overcooked and tasteless. Tuna should be cooked to taste and the server should ask the customer how they want their tuna cooked."
