Cottage Place Restaurant
The Cottage Place Restaurant is located in a historic Flagstaff residence built in 1909. Opened in 1980, The Cottage Place has been a favorite of locals & tourists alike who enjoy its intimate atmosphere, fine food, excellent service & extensive wine list.
In 2012 Cottage Place Restaurant was named one of the 100 BEST OVERALL restaurants in the country by OPEN TABLE diners. The restaurant also has "The Award of Excellence" and has been named "Best Fine Dining" by readers of the local paper for many years.
In additional to serving dinner every Wednesday through Sunday, the Cottage Place Restaurant holds a series of Cooking Classes and has published an outstanding cookbook, Cottage Place Flavors. It is indeed a very special restaurant and the owners, Frank and Nancy Branham along with their entire staff, look forward to you dining with us soon!!

"Chef Frank has created a wonderful experience for people who love food. His carefully prepared soups, appetizers and entrees leave nothing more to be desired. The service is knowledgable and very attentive. Our shared rack of lamb was perfectly prepared. The wine list, even for wines by the glass, was excellent. This was one of the finest restaurants we visited on our 5000 mile road trip. Simply top notch!"

"We had another great time at the Cottage Place. While all of the food was good, for us the soups almost always steal the show. This time it was an asparagus soup that was great. Last time it was a winter squash soup that was also great. This time we had a fantastic waitress that made the experience that much better."

But don't let the location fool you. Chef Frank Branham delivers outstanding culinary masterpieces!
The stuffed mushrooms and mushroom ravioli appetizers are excellent.
And the Sea Bass is superb. But everything we saw served looked fantastic.
Service is top shelf as well.
Treat yourself the next time you are in Flagstaff.
You'll be glad you did.
And pick up Chef Branhams new cook book while you are their!"

"On a weekend trip to Flagstaff from Las Vegas and was looking for a nice restaurant to have dinner. Being from Vegas and having all the the top rated restaurant options here has made us very particular about where we eat when on vacation. You probably could say we are food snobs. Got online and came across the reviews for Cottage Place Restaurant, which by the way were mostly excellent, so I thought we would give it a try. I am so glad that we did, we made reservations which were recommended and got there about 5 minutes early and we were seated immediately. This place was great from start to finish. The service was excellent and the food outstanding. Try the Beef Filet with the Gorgonzola topping it's heavenly."

"We opted for the 6-course Tasting Menu with wine pairings and were totally delighted. Starting with a pan-seared scallop with fresh English peas, asparagus and red pepper in a lobster cream sauce broadly hinted that the evening was going to be special. The spicy garlic soup second course smoothly carried the bite of the garlic. Through sheer willpower we refrained from licking the bowl. The charbroiled tenderloin with goat cheese and pistachio topping was cooked to perfection and so tender you could cut it with a fork. The port demi-glace complemented the meat and side vegetables well. For dessert the blueberries flambé served over the creamiest vanilla ice cream imaginable capped an extraordinary evening."

"After living in Flagstaff for 10 years, we finally went to The Cottage Place to celebrate a birthday. We were greeted by the executive chef, who offered to take my g/f's coat. We had a great table and were promptly addressed by our server. We had the Tasting Menu, and the time between the courses was spot on; not too fast and not too slow. The food was spectacular, both in preparation and presentation, and the wine was superb! We will definitely patronize this place again!!"

"We were in Flagstaff to attend the State Music Festival for High School as our daughter made the All-State choir for her second year, and we wanted to have a celebratory dinner. After reading the review on TripAdvisor, I decided on Cottage Place—and it fully lived up to it's reputation. Though the prices dictate this be a "special occasion" restaurant, the food and service was fabulous. We all decided to go with the Tasting Menu, which pairs wines with a variety of dishes, and it was a great value. Our waiter was knowledgable and warm, and was able to assure us that since it was a tasting menu, we would not be bloated at the end, and he was right: the portions were perfect. A thoroughly wonderful evening with a wonderful meal."

"Overall great food and service. We went early (6:00) and it was quiet, had we gotten there later it would have been louder. The seating arrangement was crowded, since we were there early this was not an issue but as we were leaving it was feeling cramped. It was a great experience, we have been living in Flagstaff for 4 years and finally ate there and we were not disappointed."

"Outstanding location for a spcial occasion. I enjoyed the six course meal with wine pairing. I found the price exceptional and the food to be excellent in quality and presentation. The waiter was extremely attentive and ensured the evening with friends was a memorable event. While it is on the higher expense end of Flagstaff dining the overall experience is equal to that found in New York, Chicago or any other food destination. Consider Cottage Place for a notable dining experience in the area."

"We dined on the chef's 5 course, wine paired dinner. I can't say enough about this place. The lamb was tender, the smoked gouda scalloped potatoes amazing, and the bannanas flambe was a spectacular final event. Each of the four wines was perfectly paired with courses. My taste buds were dancing all evening. Both times we have dined at this restaurant the staff was attentive and cheerful. Definitely a gem for the small town of Flagstaff."

"We loved the ambiance of this charming restaurant. The service was excellent and it was a nice, relaxing evening. Regarding the food, the Beef Wellington was outstanding. However, we also had the Parmesan-crusted scallops. I would not order the latter again. The scallops were excellent (cooked perfectly) but the breading and remoulade sauce were bland and detracted from the flavor of the scallops."
