"I took my father here for fathers day brunch. The choices were great! Omelettes, waffles, fresh fruit, cheese, lots of different fish, vegetables, salad, and a dessert table (pecan pie was the highlight). The atmosphere was pleasant and peaceful despite the large crowd. My only recommendation would be for the peel and eat shrimp, although delicious, I personally am not a fan of peeling my own shrimp. Also, the hostess did not know how to register the open table points and suggest I ask the manager, I was more interested in spending time with my dad so I did not. My father said he would have to stay for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Overall it was great!"

"The restaurant was dark (it was @ 6:30 pm in spring so it was still pretty light out). Large windows were hidden by huge dark blinds that were closed. No candle light either. Seemed like a much older crowd, but it was just after the twilight menu hour ended. The food was very good, but overpriced. Cocktails were also a bit high. $10.50 for a small mixed drink. We mainly went to this restaurant to enjoy some fresh seafood. Min. fresh seafood available. If you want to attract a younger crowd, open up the windows, brighten up this dank place and lower the bar prices."

"We have loved Bristol from the start. It never disappoints and last night was no exception. Three of us had the mixed grill with a couple orders of lobster Mac n cheese ( a must have). As usual, all was cooked well and seasoned perfectly so the flavors didn't get lost. A new choice for us was the lobste bisque and it was fantastic. We had a wonderful evening."

"Used to be pretty good but the place is getting run down and Shabby. Needs a remodel or at least new paint and refinishing of tables , boths and chairs. However biggest disappointment was the Brunch. For $32 I expected a ton more options and much better tasting food. Buffet is not always the best but this comparable to old folks home food. Eggs overcooked, Shaved beef sitting in hot water, no eggs benidict or even the cheese blintz they used to have. Dessert options were cookies. terrible bread pudding and funny tasting chocolate mousse. Oh and pecan pie, but looked store bought. For $32 i expect creme brulee, fresh fruit and more pie and cake options. Dinner here may still be ok but I will never go back for any brunch at this location."

"We went to Bristol Seafood Grill on a Tuesday evening at about 5:00 and used an email offer for a delicious Lobster tail for $25. It was tender and sweet even without the butter. It was raining outside and we were seating by the fireplace and had a delightful evening. We ended our meal with some wonderful desserts(ice cream and creme brulee). A wonderful way to celebrate our anniversary(though a few weeks late). We go to Bristols to celebrate many special occasions but it is nice just for a nice night out, too."

"We have been to this restaurant many times over the years as it was always one of our favorites, especially for seafood. I had their creole gumbo and it was different than I remembered whereby it wasn't as spicy. I didn't like it as well. My entrée was a 1/2 lb cold lobster with sage potatoes and green beans. The lobster was overcooked and slightly rubbery and I sent it back. They brought me a new plate within a reasonable time and the lobster was very good the second time around. The second meal of a salad, green beans and mahi-mahi was good. This restaurant has fallen from our favorites list. Not sure what has changed but the menu isn't the same as we have experienced in the past."

"Usually we are very happy with the Brunch at Bristol, but this time we were very disappointed. The food was not up to their usually standard. The biscuits were hard as rocks, the rum anglais had broken and looked like scrambled eggs! Where was the chocolate fountain? The pecan pie and carrot cake were poor substitutes. It was so very crowded and disorganized, no one knew which way to go, even the wait staff was stepping all over people. Our waitress was nice, but a girl behind the bar was swearing very loudly. It looked like most of the wait staff was still in high school and didn't want to be there. For what we paid, I was very disappointed. This is fine dining?"

"Way over priced for the food choices they had. Who has a brunch and doesn't serve bacon!!!

"We were seated in front of the kitchen --- poor ambiance and very noisy and high traffic. The food was mediocre at best - a poor value for the price. We have been very happy with the restaurant for a dining option, but cannot say we would return or recommend brunch. Honestly, cookies as a desert? "For $28.00 per person Easter brunch, our party of 10 thought the food selection and quality was marginal. No bacon on the buffet...what? Waffles took way to long to get a small underdone dollar size waffle. Quite disappointing. The restaurant is tight and not comfortable for larger parties. Won't be back."

"I really enjoyed the time treating my daughter and her husband for her birthday. I thought the two drinks he had ($21.00,and with tax and tip, $27.00)was too expensive. Desserts are pricey but very good. Many of us have reduced income and it is tough to go out as often as in the past where we would like to due to cost.
I know you have to cover your costs and feel for you as well.
Thank you for the very lovely evening.

"We had a party of 4. We were seated promptly and greeted right away by our server. We ordered crab cakes, lobster bisque, and a Caesar salad as starters. All were very good. The crab cakes were almost solely crab meat and tasted wonderful. The bisque was rich and creamy. I didn't try the Caesar, but it looked very good. Three of us ordered the filet, and two of us got the combo (on with scallops and one with panko breaded shrimp). The fourth person got the mixed grill with lobster mac and cheese. Everything was really well made with one minor exception. I ordered a medium 4oz filet, but it came out well done. There was no pink in it at all. Fortunately, two of us switched and were satisfied."

"Overall experience was good. Food was great, but the service was a bit lacking. We went during the Valentine's Day weekend, so the place was busy. It looked like they had added some additional tables which made it a bit too loud and awkward. You were so close to the table next to you, it almost felt like you were one big party. And it was difficult not to overhear their conversation, because they were a foot away from you. The server switched our appetizer with the table next to us, and then switched my steak with my wife's steak on our entree. No major show stoppers, just a little annoying for a restaurant in this price range."

"Food is always good (a bit pricey) along with the service. When the restaurant is busy, it seems a bit crowded and less intimate. Customers would like some space in this type of environment rather than stuffing a very large table next to a couple who are trying to enjoy their special moment. The service has been good but we feel a little rushed when they are taking your order, filling your glass and dropping off biscuits all at the same time and sometimes your main course is brought out to you before you're finished with your salad. They need to slow down and make sure you're ready before passing on the next course."
