We're celebrating our 22th Year in Sunny Dundee with exciting new menus that feature more gluten-free, vegetarian & vegan dishes.
We opened Tina's in October 1991, after cooking in Portland for over 10 years. We have a small bar, and two intimate dining rooms, separated by a fireplace, seat 50 guests. Our search for locally grown, organic foods led us out of the city and into the countryside where we work closely with a great group of farmers, ranchers and fisherman. We're closer to the source of what goes onto your plate, and we believe that the opportunity to cook in a wine growing region lends our food a context, flavor and experience that is unbeatable.
We are committed to using the best ingredients, and our menu is based on the foods that our farmer/neighbors grow. The wines that we feature are from just up the hill; our staff has a deep knowledge of this place. Our menu changes as we move through the seasons of the year.
"From the friendly knowledgeable service to the excellent wine list and good food this is a very nice restaurant. The prices are moderate, and the location is in the center of Dundee. A very pleasant experience."

"Had an early dinner at this fabulous Dundee, OR restaurant last Saturday night (before a show). Wished we had not had to hurry a bit, as dinner should have been the main entertainment that evening. Every item is fresh in season, beautifully presented and delicious! I hadn't been there this century, last eaten there in the '90s. Won't wait that long before returning. And, oh, I almost forgot: a terrific selection of local pinot noirs, the areas specialty, along with several excellent European wines."

"Unfortunately, both the service and food quality have taken a dive at Tina's. The "spring pea" soup tasted much like Mom's old stand-by split pea soup -- nothing fresh or springy about it. The entrees we had, duck risotto and beef short ribs, were mostly a bowl of sticky mush with sticky meat. The short ribs were overly fatty and not nearly as tasty as what we'd prepare at home. Overall, the meal was heavy, lacked imagination in seasonings and presentation and certainly wasn't a $32 per entree value. Finally, the waitress who served us, while very sweet, didn't know the menu. I asked about the short ribs preparation and she responded, "Well, they're cooked nicely." It went downhill from there."

"As always, the food was outstanding. I've never been there before when Tina's was anything other than quiet--almost library quiet, even when full. This time we were in the front room, and right next to us, chairs almost touching back to back, were two women and two children. The women were loud and noisy, and therefore, the children's voices almost screeched. They didn't just talk loudly; they played singing and clapping games. This wasn't just while waiting for food; this was while they were eating, too. There was a table of men across the room from us who were exceptionally noisy, too.
It was impossible for us to hear the other three at our small table, and I had a headache by the time I left."

"Our third time eating dinner at Tina's in 3 yrs. Food delicious and prepared well. Nice menu options. We ate light having had a late lunch and there were menu choices to fit our appetites. A good choice of wonderful local wines to choose from. Friendly low-key service, welcoming to visitors and locals. We will go back again."

"As usual, a very enjoyable evening! We come once or twice a year to the Willamette Valley and Tina's is always on our dinner list. For appetizers, the Asparagus and Chevre Bruschetta, and the Salmon Egg Rolls, were wonderful. The house salad was delicious, but the parsnip bisque was bland. The Duck Confit Risotto was excellent, as was the Seared Tombo Tuna. However, if you like your tuna minimally seared, let the waiter know. We were full so had no dessert. A special note about the wine list - not only is it very complete, but the prices are very reasonable. A glass of Lange Pinot Gris was just right to start off the appetizers; then a bottle of the 2009 Laurene with dinner. A great way to start off our visit to Pinot country!"

"The positives: we were seated quickly near a fireplace and had prompt, pleasant service. The salad was very good. The entrees ranged from pretty good- the hangar steak, to the very poor, indelible and unrecognizable tuna steak. It as so overlooked it was like jerky. Fried oysters wer also pretty bad, uninspired, greasy, tasteless and - this is a first- they had no Tabasco sauce in the entire restaurant, even though there is a bar there, as well. They did reduce the price of the mystery fish by 50%, but they should have taken it off the bill entirely."

"We came during the week, and although it was a bit quiet, we were seated at a lovely fireside table (perfect because it was our anniversary). All of the food was delicious and the service was spot on. (Friendly, helpful - but not obtrusive.)"

"This is the last high-end restaurant I had to try in the Yamhill Valley. Neither our oyster appetizers or my scallop entree were washed. Nothing ruins a dinner more than a mouth full of sand. I could have forgiven them if it was one or the other, but I felt like my whole meal was being served with a side of sand. Yuck. I also didn't think the side dishes really complimented the entrees. The carrot cashew puree was way too acidic for the scallops. For $150 for two people I expect better."

"Our second time at Tina's was just as good as the first...Best of all its at the end of my street...Nice to have a GREAT Restaurant within 6 blocks of home!!!!
Only problem is great reviews might make it harder for my wife and I to get a table as it is pretty small.
Great Restaurant...Highly recommended!!!"

"The chef and consequently food was superb. My father is an excellent gourmet chef and so my standards air on the high side. This sweet spot in Dundee exceeded my expectations. The menu had a good balance of choices for all courses but not overwhelming at all. Wine pairing suggestions were good. Prices were very appropriate. The service was excellent - we felt well tended to even thought we had to wait a little before our table was ready (e.g. 15 min). The bartender and waitress immediately included us in their service once we arrived. I would definitely go again and I would take my father there!"

"This was our fifth visit to Tina's and we weren't disappointed. Had a wonderful table by the fire and had invited friends to join us who had never been. The green salad that accompanied my lamb shank was delicious, and the lamb was so tender. All in all an enjoyable evening!"

"My wife and I have been to Tina's perhaps a 15-20 times over the last dozen years. We've gone less recently as there are several new dining options in Yamhill wine country. We had a Saturday evening that suddenly opened up when both of our kids went to friend's houses, and were pleasantly surprised to get a last minute reservation. The food was unique and outstanding, and the service was like we were the only ones in the restaurant. Outstanding selection of Oregon pinot noirs in particular."

"Very good food and staffs were very accommodating. We had an 8 year-old girl with us and they didn't have kids menu but made a kids portion risotto for her. Very accommodating for our drink request and bar tender was very friendly and knowledgeable. They took time to answer the questions about food and also accommodated our food request for how we wanted it to be cooked. Food was delicious. Better yet, desert was excellent. It is not the fanciest place for romantic dinner but was a very pleasant dining experience. Will definitely go again."

"We were amazed at the over and above service without being annoying or interruptive. The food was so good and balanced with hints of interesting flavors. The wine went very well with the dishes. Thank you Tina's,
PS. We'll recommend you"
