Our philosophy is simple, to serve beautiful, well crafted food accompanied by exceptional wine, beer and spirits from around the world. We strive to provide an inviting, unhurried atmosphere where you can pop in for a glass of wine or stay and enjoy dinner with friends. Our Bistro menu allows our guests to enjoy a variety of flavour profiles and uses as many locally sourced ingredients as possible. We offer 20 wines by the glass and will build flights upon request. Our craft beer selection is diverse and delicious and offers another realm to an enjoyable night out.

"We go to somerville at least once a month,never fails to deliver.Beautiful food , wonderful atmosphere and excellent service.This is bar none the best place to have a steak,Chef is an expert griller of meats. Just one of our favorite downtown spots."

"This is the third time or so we have been, and it's so great everytime. Love the ambiance especially, I love a good looking room. My boyfriend is crazy for the bison, and claims it's the best steak in town. This time I had the pate and baked camembert in maple syrup with nuts, super delicious!! They have a good selection of wines and a really nice beer list too."

"Came with friends for a girls night birthday get together. Food was amazing, wine was delicious! The waitress did an outstanding job pairing wine to our food orders, and she was so friendly and very accommodating by taking a couple of pictures of us. Thank you so much for everything! Next time I am back in Edmonton, I will definitely be returning!"

"Fantastic experience. Came to celebrate a birthday and they made a real fuss. Complimentary bubbly, birthday cake. Our server was wonderful, very welcoming. We are big seafood fans and so we tried the scallop and shrimp, both were exceptional.
Our main dishes were brilliant. Delicious duck, nice and crispy on the outside. The casserole was so beautifully presented, like beef burgundy with a puff pastry lid. Their wines are really well chosen."

"Very nice time,they are always so accommodating at Somerville . My friend is a gluten free with many allergies, Chef put together a lovely meal for her. I on the other hand powered my way through great proteins, ,shrimp and an awesome braised short rib casserole,topped with a buttery flakey pastry.Just love it here."

"Lovely place to spend and evening! Tables well spaced apart. I was especially happy to discover the chef from another wine bar downtown I have frequented is now here, his food is always amazing. The garlic white wine shrimp were succulent, as were the stuffed and breaded olives, very tasty. My Lamb was done to perfection and the portion was huge. They have a beautiful wine list, a large by the glass selection. Nice to discover another brilliant addition to Edmonton's flourishing dining scene."

"This is truly a great place to go for an excellent evening out. We were impressed by our server's knowledge regarding the wine list, as she was able to successfully guide us in the right direction towards a beautiful bottle of wine. Both the lamb and the casserole were so delicious and beautifully presented. I just loved the puff pastry on the casserole. Also, the scallops are a must have! An excellent place in every aspect."

"We love to try new places in Edmonton and were very impressed with our visit. The atmosphere is great, very warm and the tables aren't on top of one another. We stayed for hours even though the place was packed, nice to not feel rushed out the door. The Lamb shank was fantastic and a huge portion. My girlfriend had the bison and loved it.

"Brought a client from Chicago with me and he absolutely loved it. Our food was just delicious, my bison was cooked to perfection and he raved about his pork tenderloin. We were the first ones there and ended up staying for hours, very comfortable room to linger in even when it's full. We tried several different glasses of wines with our food rather than a bottle, very enjoyable. The owner came by and chatted and brought us some lovely port with our dessert. Nice touch."

"Food quality was excellent and service was just right. Although the menu is small the food choices were good. There is only a concern if they don't change the menu often enough to keep people coming back. Other than that a top choice. Need more like it in Edmonton and on 124th."

"A coworker recommended this place and we were so pleased! It's fantastic, great feel inside, really warm and cosy and the tables aren't so close you feel like your on top of the next table. Reminds me of little places in San francisco we love. The food was amazing, and portions were generous, my shrimp appie had 10 large prawn and were to die for. Our cheeseplate has gorgeous cheese selections, all new to me and wonderful. For dinner I had steak frites, and it was the BEST steak I've had in Edmonton, my date had the Bison and went and shook the Chefs hand afterwards he was so impressed! Our waitress was incredibly knowlegable and offered up great pairing suggestions, we even had a scotch pairing with dessert which was fantastic and fun!"

"Another fantastic night at one of the best, if not the best restaurants in the city.Sheri always makes you feel right at home.The food and service is always top shelf!Great to see they have expanded there craft beer list to 20 bottles.Look forward to my next visit."

"What a great little place! The food was absolutely delicious and incredibly priced for what we got. My steak was superb and the scallop appies were hands down the best I have EVER had, my girlfriend had the duck and said it was perfect. They have a really great wine list for their by the glass choices. Our server was really friendly and helpful with wine picks, made it fun to explore some new wines. Definitely a new favourite spot on 124 street!"
