Raaga
"Raaga ("sweet melody") prides itself on offering superior taste and flavor. With each mouthwatering bite, guests can distinguish and savor the finest spices and the freshest herbs. In addition to his Northern Indian fare, chef Paddy Rawal offers dishes that incorporate local Southwest elements. Raaga's menu includes vegetarian and vegan options as well as meat and seafood choices. All can be ordered mild, medium or hot to please any palate.

"Raaga has been a favorite of ours in the past but we would only return if Chef Paddy is doing the cooking in the future.
We were so proud and happy to take our children from Atlanta to Raaga and introduce them to some of the finest Indian cuisine ever. The food was so-so tonight. We overheard the table next to us ask what had happened to their usual favorite dishes. The waiter explained that the regular chef is begining to take 2-3 nights off a week for a much needed break. That explained everything."

"Great Indian food with bit of fusion - creative cooking that really works. A Thali in India is a complete meal with small dishes that cover all the bases as though you are eating family style with a large group - 3 different dishes plus dal, rice, raita, pickle, a sweet and sometimes bread. Since there was no Thali, my wife and I ordered 2 dishes, and a raita and bread. To order another dish, dal, pickle and desert would have been just way too much food and cost. Great great food - but please, give us a daily Thali or two so we can eat the way we do when we are in India."

"Service is very ragged. Food is good but often not hot. Great potential but needs work. Waiter brought me wrong meal and tried to convince me it was right. Totally different."

"Raaga is a neighborhood gem; unpretentious and friendly. The menu is extensive; it's hard to choose. We ordered too much - lamb, chicken, shrimp stew - excellent. Wine list is limited. They were careful about the amount of spice in the entrees. Recommend this if you are in the mood for Indian food!"

"I wanted to try something different to celebrate my birthday. This was a great choice! The lunch buffet was awesome. Food was excellent. The waiter was very friendly and the service in general was great. I will definitely go back! I would recommend Raaga to anyone who lies East Indian food."

"Raaga is a welcome addition to the ethnic restaurants in Santa Fe. The Raaga menu is large, offering many Indian dishes not previously available in Santa Fe. There are a number of excellent sea food options. Portions are geneous and tasty and price is quite reasonable considering the quality. Service was outstanding, though it was quite a buy night.
