The menu might not be revolutionary, but the quality of each dish is. You take a seat along the large outdoor bar, and your bartender smiles and pours you a cold pint of your favorite draft - just one of the twelve out of R&R's admirable draft selection. You watch as the bartender muddles fresh, locally-grown fruit for your wife's cocktail. I'll take the white chili, you say, and a cheeseburger, medium rare. You're enjoying your drinks and the ambiance of R&R's spacious sunset patio while back in the kitchen, the chef tosses ingredients into a pan - just enough for one bowl - nonsense to the untrained eye. He grills a perfectly-molded patty of fresh, quality sirloin ground in-house and pairs it with a side of homemade potato chips. You're presented with a steaming bowl of chili and a juicy burger, and the real treat begins. Local. Scratch cooking. R&R Grill.
"R&R is a pretty nice restaurant, have eaten there several times and consistently provides good food. The service is ok, sometimes waiters will take long breaks between visits and don't always pay attention to detail. Particularly during the day it's good for family because it is quiet and calm, at night it, it has a bar and active social scene. Good staple of Franklin Street."

"I love the relaxed feel of this place - typical college campus grill with televisions on in the corners – great for 5pm - 7pm dining with family. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The zucchini frites were a hit at our table. Everyone loved the shrimp and grits. I had a hard time choosing what I wanted to try; there were so many great-sounding options. There were eight in our group, and two were a bit late, so service was fine in the beginning, but not as attentive further into the meal. We did have to occasionally ask to have our drinks refilled. Food was good though."
