"This is a regular treat for locals. This time we had the fresh rolls ( really fresh with a shrimp surprise at the bottom) and the whole fried fish with mango sauce (crispy on the outside and tender and flavorful on the inside)."

"This restaurant provides reasonably decent Thai food at a reasonable price. You get what you pay for and that's an accomplishment in today's restaurants."

"The appitizers were really good. Then the dinners were mediocre. Too much sauce, too much starch, not enough meat or vegetables. Price probably reasonable for Key West, but didn't seem like a bargain for what we got."

"Eating at Thai Life Floating restaurant was great. It is delightful to have dinner on a boat, the decor was nice and of course the view of the boats and pelicans in the marina was one of the reasons we went. We shared a bottle of reisling wine which was only $23, a real bargain. Our food was delicious, vegetables were fresh and done just right, the shrimp were huge, plumbpand savory. We even had dessert, something you don't think of eating at an Asian restaurant, but their Mango Sticky Rice is worth the price of the trip to Key West, a must try! The only downside was the construction at the nearby intersection. We missed it at first, but Google maps finally got us into the big marina parking lot where they are docked."

"Whenever we travel, we always like to snoop out a great Thai restaurant, and Thai Life didn't disappoint. We were so happy to have found it. While the interior is rather bland, and the tables/chairs are a bit uncomfortable, the food and service were great. Truly - the MAIN reason to visit this restaurant is to experience the food! I ordered a spicy tuna hand roll.It was an extremely generous portion with excellent flavor. The Seafood Delight entree was delicious, filled with fresh scallops and other seafood. My husband gobbled it all up! The flavor was light and just right. He loved it. I had the Panang Curry (with chicken). The flavor was excellent, although it was a little too spicy for my taste. My son had the Pad See Ew and loved it."

"Hard to find good Asian food in KW. This Thai outshines all the others as far as menu and preparations go. Curiously no duck dishes at all. Otherwise, there is a freshness and authenticity to the food here. Pots of fresh herbs on the dock by the entrance are obviously used, and its a real Mom n Pop, it would seem, British husband and his Thai wife.. A nicely decorated floating restaurant."

"OK, so the road construction outside is a bit offputting, but if you turn your head to the harbor, it's not so bad. We had lunch at this small Thai restaurant and really enjoyed our meal The Red Curry with chicken ( "Hot spicy level") was excellent. The garlic balck pepper chicken was very flavorful, but could have used a bit more garlic for our taste. The service was perfection. If you're in the mood for Thai, a very good place to go"

"It was a cold blustery night in Key West when we last ate at Thai Life. After biking the mile or so against the wind from our house, we were welcomed to our requested table. The heaters were on, the transparent shades were down, the lighting beautiful and we were warm and hungry.
Because I was looking for lighter fare this night,I tried the Fresh Rolls. Veggies + one perfect shrimp in each roll. So good and clean tasting! The vegetable noodle soup with tofu was just right alongside to comfort and warm me with its deliciousness.
My husband and our guest thoroughly enjoyed their curry dishes. Don't miss the Som Tum salad!Oh dear, this won't let me type anymore - I would go on and on. Thanks so much Thai Life for being one of our fav res"

"Really liked the atmosphere of this quaint floating restaurant, but unfortunately found the food disappointing compared with other Thai restaurants. We ordered the soft shell crab with vegetables. This entree was definitely short on crab - more like a few small pieces atop a nice mound of vegetables. Both chicken soup and chicken sate lacked flavor. The papaya salad was dull. On a positive note the Thai iced tea and Thai ice coffee were very good. If you do go it would be wise to ask for a description and use of the table condiments. Some looked benign but were excruciatingly hot. The restaurant is located by a marina and they do offer to cook your catch."
