"Great location and great restaurant overall. Service for a table of 8 for brunch was fast without being rushed. Would highly recommend to family and friends. Especially those with small children. Great variety of menu items and exellent food! We have been there for dinner to before seeing a show at the Performing Arts Complex which was also excellent."

"The turkey & arugula sandwhich was wonderful and the fries crisp, hot and delicious. We did have one issue with an overcooked burger, but the manager came right over, apologized and had a new, correctly cooked burger back to our table within a few minutes. He also took the burger off of our bill - that is good customer service! The food took a while to be served after we ordered and slow for a working lunch crowd, but all in all it we were happy with our lunch and will be back."

"We had a reservation, and were given a very dark booth where we were, in general, overlooked, and the booth was so dark, we couldn't read the menus. At first the waitress was attentive, but after getting our orders, we didn't see her again for almost an hour and a 15 minutes. It took 50 minutes to bring us our steaks, which were just OK. No inquiry about more drinks, and no refilled water glasses. After twenty five minutes of empty plates and water, the table was cleared with an admonishment that it was so dark, they couldn't see us.
The food was mediocre, unfortunately.
We'd been before and everything was great, but after this visit, well, we're in no hurry to return."

"They were out of two entrees so we needed to change our selections. Service was terrible. We had to keep reminding the waiter of things we ordered. Steak was barely OK. Cost was too high for what we received. Then they ran the charge twice. Called the next day and they said we would have to wait for the 2nd charge to "fall off," which could take 3-5 days. So we have $300 of our money tied up to remind us of this bad experience."

"I remember when the department store, Joslin's, occupied Rialto's space. I've heard about Rialto, but never actually had the pleasure of dining there. I was pleased with the extensive menu choices and with the servers recommendations. I had the Ahi Tuna and my husband ate the New York steak - we were not disappointed with our choices. The Ahi Tuna was the best I've ever had. Our waiter, Ben, was awesome! His service, mannerisms, and knowledge of the menu put him above the rest. I won't hesitate recommending Rialto to anyone."

"My Caesar Salad with blackened salmon was delicious, and the half-portion was perfect for a before-the-opera meal. I treated myself to the cornbread, which never disappoints. Thankfully, the music was very low, still, the noise level from diners' conversations was very high---to the point that my companion and I had to lean over our table and shout to converse. I've had breakfast and lunch at the Rialto Cafe many times during the work week and not noticed the noise level. Not sure why it was different during weekend brunch."

"The food at the Rialto Cafe is typically upscale American. Everyone in our group was pleased with his or her meal. The food tasted very fresh, right off the grill or out of the fryer, etc. and whisked to the table Salads were exceptionally good. Meal presentations were appealing and appetizing. Maybe best of all was our server, Mary, who handled our ten-person group with ease. She was everywhere she needed to be when she was needed -- attentive, considerate, delightful. (I wish we had a Rialto Cafe in Colorado Springs!)"

"food was very good not a good value for the price paid. Nothing was included in the entre dinner. Everthing is extra. Service was outstanding. Bar scene was noisy and at times very irritating. I don't recommend this restaurant for a quiet, romantic dinner. I don't recommend this scene for senior citizens, because we are and don't like the noise from the younger generation. But, we have the money, and they usually don't.

"My wife and I used a Groupon for our first visit to Rialto. For the price we paid (half off with coupon), I would say dinner was worth it. Barely. However, I can't imagine anyone paying full price. I'd label the menu "elementary minimalism", something a first semester culinary student might cook. The food isn't bad. It's just very basic and uninspired, certainly not worthy of the asking price. If the restaurant would just inject more creativity into its existing menu, it could start to compete with the rest of its downtown neighbors.

One thing they DID do right is the pre-dinner cornbread. It was the highlight of the meal."

"It was a bit noisy, we were stuck in a corner but we could watch the people walking the 16th street mall for entertainment. The service was good and the calamarie appitizer was fantastic. I was a bit disapointed in my entree of seafood pasta, the pasta was overdone and the seafood was skimpy. My husband enjoyed his beef stew special for ST Pats day."

"My husband and I came here on the recommendation of a friend of ours. I had the Filet Mignon and I must say it was the best Filet I think I have ever had! My husband had a cheese burger with french fries, and again, awesome fries, and he said the burger was "pretty darn good." Service was not the best, we only saw our waitress when she took our order, brought our check, and one other time. Maybe we didn't seem needy? But I did appreciate that she wasn't over our table every 2 minutes either. Regardless, we'll be back here again!"

"This is probably a good restaurant in warm weather when one can be on the patio and order a hamburger and glass of wine and people watch. The restaurant has wonderful possibilities; however, the waitstaff is not well trained. They are not efficient and appear to be rushed all the time, but they get the order wrong still while being pleasant. Our food was mediocre. We will try it again when the weather is warm. Perhaps, the second time will be better."

"Tried the Rialto Cafe during Denver 5280 Restaurant Week and really enjoyed ourselves. The restaurant is on the 16th Street Mall so it's conveniently located for a night downtown. In addition to their regular menu, they also offer a "Theater Prix Fixe" menu for $25/person which was a fantastic deal. I actually ordered the short ribs from that menu instead of the special 5280 menu offerings and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The other members of our party ordered from the 5280 menu and were pleased with their meals too. The restaurant was bright and lively, but not too loud. We will definitely be back to Rialto again!"

"We decided to take advantage of theDenver Restaurant Week promotion and try the Rialto Cafe as a new experience. The atmosphere was lively and the restaurant was full. The menu had some nice choices and our meal was very tasty and well prepared. The prices seemed to be in alignment with food/atmosphere in similar retaurants. The only negative was that the waitress seemed very rushed which in turn made us feel rushed. It may have even that is was a Saturday evening, personal reasons or she may have just been too busy. None the less, we felt as if she was more concerned about moving us along than attending to us. In the end, I would definitely recommend it and would visit again when downtown."

"I selected Rialto because I had never been there, they had good reviews and I have a work-related connection to this restaurant. I took my parents and 2 sisters out to dinner and they all raved about how fabulous the food was. One sister, a 'pescetarian'/vegetarian, especially loved the salmon.
I only have 3 issues: the waitress forgot to give us the appetizer I ordered; there was no Moscato wine on their winelist; and I wish they'd had a booth big enough for 5 people."
