"The food at Frederick's Bistro is always good. I especially love the delicious sauces that accompany so many of the dishes. On this occasion I chose the Norwegian Salmon with Artichokes in a Champagne Veloute. The dish was delicious, but unfortunately the plate was so hot it caused the beautiful sauce to "break" and separate, and continued cooking the salmon beyond my preferred degree of done. We also enjoyed the Spring Rolls and the Escargot, and I must say, the Escargot was the best part of the meal."

"Good was just amazing, best lamb chops I ever had and the veal bread was something completely unexpected. The place is really romantic and intimate, ideal for a couple or two celebrating a special occasion or just having some good time, wine list and service was also very good."

"Food at Fredrick's is always first rate. This night the escargot were amazing and the fish special was great. Always attentive service,even from less experienced staff (as ours was) overcoming lack of knowledge with sincerity and attention. In addition,it's priced at a level that belies the quality. Recommend without hesitation."

"Crab cakes and oysters casino were nicely prepared and flavorful. Parmesan crusted halibut was the standout, while the off-menu special of gulf shrimp was overly breaded and overly browned. Although we've been here a number of times, we typically walk away saying the food is reliably good but rarely memorable, and the prices seem high for the overall dining experience."

"Frederick's Bistro is a great place to eat; I usually go on Sunday night and it is not normally busy. This time I met a friend on Saturday night and was glad I made reservations; it was packed. I ordered the Frederick's salad; great vinagerette dressing and veggies (edamame, fresh corn and artichokes) along with the salad. I also had one of three fish specials, crusted halibut, with a dollop of guacamole on top. It was to die for; I would order it next time I visit. This is a great local restaurant, classy and good food."

"Food was amazing. The main dining room looked divine however we were in the bar area by a door with a terrible steady that the local bar scene kept opening. It would have been great, but the room we were in needed more ambience, as it felt like a bar, not a dining experience."

"food was well presented/plated. sauces were excellently done but didn't seem to match main course ie. pork chop mushroom sauce covered pork chop flavor. which made plate seem too expensive.
appetizers and desert - excellent.
aoog white zinfindel might be a nice addtion if chosen well.
overall nice for people who don't mind paying for ambiance and exclusivity at the expense of great tasting food."
