Poquitos offers authentic presentations of traditional Mexican cuisine while utilizing the regional benefit of high quality Northwest farms and purveyors. Over 14,000 Talavera tiles from Puebla, Mexico and a variety of Mexican artisan design pieces combine to create an environment that is unique not only to Capitol Hill but Seattle as well. Our outdoor covered patio, with radiant heat, two fireplaces, and 12-seat bar is enjoyable whether for a Sunday lunch or a Friday night cocktail. Please note: online reservations requesting patio are not guaranteed.
"Good food, friendly if over-enthusiastic service (every time a waitperson walked by our table, he/she would try to remove plates and glasses, regardless of whether we were still eating!). FAR too noisy for anyone over 35! Extremely hard to hear ourselves or waitstaff."

"The Chicken Enchiladas mole were great, and the rice and beans tasted very fresh. Food was altogether good, but some of the portions were relatively small for the price."

"Great find, passed by one evening and made a mental note to return. Made the happy hour and was glad we did. Great $5 margeritas, white fish ceviche and mini sopas. Tortilla soup was very filling but a tad salty. Great service in the bar. We are going to return!"

"It was our first time and over all we enjoyed it and would go back. The size of our meals were good, not huge and were well prepared. Two small negatives: 1. The seats are hard and some what uncomfortable for us older people. 2. Three of us got served our meal together while the fourth waited an uncomfortable amount of time before she got served her meal."

"Great food and drink with plenty of options. Loved the carne asada and guacamole! Service on a busy night was great, our server was attentive and kept up well with our large group. The dinner and drink menu is a bit on the pricey side but both are great so it's hard to complain. We will definitely be back!"

"We were told when we entered the bar that "The food section is all reserved. Sit at the bar". (I had reservations.) So we sat at the bar. A long time. Finally took our drink order, never asked for a food order and then charged us incorrectly.
Once in the food section we had good service but the food has gone downhill from previous visits. I had the three tacos and the chicken taco was the most boring food I've ever eaten in my life. My partner enjoyed his carnitas and churo."

"Food had just right proportions so you were satisfied but not stuffed. The special guacamole with pistachios and dried apricots was surprisingly delicious! The only disappointment was the dessert. The lime tart was hard like it hadn't been defrosted in time and the flan was too sweet. I love this place because Im not a huge Mexican food fan but my husband is so we both get what we want. Plus you gotta love Capitol Hill!"

"Poquito's never fails to deliver. We had a reservation and were promptly seated. We enjoyed fresh made guacamole and chips before our plates of delicious tacos arrived. The service is consistent, the food is always fresh and the environment is great for a group of friends to catch up. Another great meal at Poquito's!"

"The service was excellent and the food was really good, but it was really noisy and hard to have a conversation with anyone that wasn't sitting right next to you."

"Waws very impressed with Poquitos when it first opened but not anymore. What used to be a very unique Mexican experience now seemed like any other chain. Attention to detail by wait staff and food no longer exists."
