Comme un repas se doit d'être une expérience inoubliable à tous les points de vue, les deux propriétaires du Saint-Amour M. Jacques Fortier et le Chef Jean-Luc Boulay ont déployé depuis 1978 leurs énergies afin de réunir une équipe passionnée et attentionnée, de la cuisine à la salle à manger.
Le Saint Amour se veut figure de proue dans le rayonnement de la gastronomie québécoise. Alliant tradition et innovation, Jean-Luc Boulay et son chef Benoît La rochelle misent sur les plus récentes techniques pour rendre hommage aux fines denrées de notre Terroir.
Au fil des ans, notre table est devenue un endroit raffiné et chaleureux où le qualificatif de distinctive ne s'arrête pas à la cuisine, mais s'étend jusqu'à l'ambiance et au confort des lieux

"We went for a special birthday dinner on a long weekend in Quebec City, and were pleased at every turn. When we asked for advice on the wine list, the sommelier recommended one of the least expensive wines on the list - a first for us - and a hit too! Food was delicious, a special request was accommodated effortlessly, and service was beyond compare. We were seated at a table by the front window so it was quiet and we didn't feel crowded. We did notice that some of the tables were quite close together and we would not have felt as romantic at one of those tables. It was expensive, but for us, dining at Cafe du Amour was a special and memorable experience."

"Le Saint Armour offered hands down the best meal I've ever had - and I've eaten in a lot of great restaurants. The beautiful and creative dishes taste as good as they look. I loved the whimsical creations, like the mushroom appetizer that while is mushroom they are whipped with cream and then reshaped to look like mushrooms - magical and delicious. The service was great and the setting is a very charming - kind of a warm inner courtyard with lots of red stained wood. The wine list is outstanding. It's worth mentioning that the bill was hefty but then we really didn't mind - it was well worth it."

"The meal was very good, and the servers were attentive and professional. The room is a bit quirky with quote a lot going on - glass roof, hanging plants, lot of colours - kind of a Paris meets Bourbon Street thing going on, and it detracts a bit from the wonderful food and service. We would likely go back, but would prefer a more demure feel for high class dining."
