"It was very noisy so difficult to have a conversation at times. Our table was crowded in the middle of other tables and every time a service person passed they bumped my chair. 3 of 4 had a good meal. My husband's steak was undercooked, sent back, but still not very good. Staff was apologetic. Good wine."

"We had a family lunch there after our son's graduation a block away at the Bank of America Pavilion. It was so convenient we could leave our car in the same lot. The staff was cued in to the occasion and were very interested in being sure our experience befitted the significance of the occasion."

"We were in Boston for our son's college graduation and chose Del Frisco's because of the stellar reviews. All were true. We had one of the most memorable dining experiences ever. The hostess seated us as soon as we arrived. We had a round table for 12 with a view of the harbor that was amazing. We all raved about our server - Thank you, Bruno! Everything was perfection and the food amazing. I would highly recommend Del Frisco's for a large party and a special occasion."

"I always learn from the sommelier team when I go to Del Frisco. It's always worth asking for guidance through the wine list which is as thick as a book.
On this occasion there was an accident with spilled plates on me and another diner. Everything was handled very professionally (and mistakes always have a way of happening, even in the best run places)."

"We had a small group of 8 for our daughters high school graduation. Seating was beautiful overlooking Boston Harbor. Wait staff was wonderful. Pricey, but that was expected. My daughter loves a good steak and could not stop raving about how delicious the filet was. As a matter of fact I also enjoyed the filet which was cooked perfectly, tender and delicious. My wife enjoyed the pan seared scallops and after having a taste I wish I had mixed a little. Sides are sides but the lobster mac and cheese was the best. The atmosphere was terrific. Of course the younger crowd milling around the beautiful bar maybe waiting for tables or just there to socialize. We will most assuredly make plans for Del Frisco's. Again. Thank you"

"Our server was knowledgeable & attentive. The food was ok. The bone in rib eye was cooked as I wanted it (medium rare) however it was a bit salty for my liking. The sides were ok, though the roasted Brussels sprouts w/ pancetta were good. The noise level was too much for me. My friends & I were practically shouting across the table to each other. Seemed more of a joint for the bridge & tunnel crowd or tourists staying at the hotels around the area. It wasn't spectacular, it wasn't bad, it was fair as far as a dining experience. I know it's a chain & it definitely has that feel (very scripted upsells, the corporate speak & feel--just not my thing). I prefer Grill 23, personally. Better steak, better sides, not the smarmy chain feel."

"It was our first trip to Del Friscos. Every year I take my husband to a new steak house for his birthday. This year it was Del Friscos, which was recommended by friends. At first glance it seemed like everyother downtown restaurant. As my husband says " all the pretty people place". As it turned out, it was not that type of environment. The staff was amazing. So friendly and helpful. We had the best dinner and can't wait to go back."

"I went to Del Frisco's with a business associate. We both had to send back our steaks: her's was undercooked and mine was overcooked. Also, we got to the restaurant 15 minutes early and the hostess would not seat us until our reservation time, even though there were open tables. I was not impressed by the service."

"Great place with the scenic view of the water. The food was great and the service you receive is A -class. We came in earlier then our reservation time about half an hour, but they were able to set up a table for us within minutes. It was also graduation day AND mothers day, but the restaurant was not too crowded. Love the light and the view at night."

"Perfect 10 every time. The food, view, ambiance and employees don't come any better! Kathleen & Rich are top notch servers!! People that didn't even wait on us said hello and thanked us for coming! "Bruno, our waiter had personality plus! He never lost his timing even with many parties to wait on.
He was attentive and checked on us frequently.
This comes from a couple who were a waitress and a bartender at the Toll House restaurant for many years between the
Wakefield's(Toll House cookie originator)and the Saccone family.
When my martini accidently spilled- it was replaced.
The piece of cheesecake for my birthday had an incredible crust!
We have been many times and shall return many more....

"Waitresses were hot (attractive and wore short/tight skirts) and very friendly. The drinks were good, but steaks were over seasoned (WAY too salty) and average at best (considering the cost for the steak - not worth it). Go to stare at the pretty waitresses, not the steaks."

"I've only been to Del Friscos once before - when they first opened a couple years ago. My first visit was average at best. They've since worked out all the kinks, and have made this one great spot to dine. Great service, food & drinks. I plan to go back very soon."

"It was very good my only criticism would be that as soon as we put our dinner forks down two ladies came over immediatley & without saying a word starting removing our plates. Not a smile, peep nor word spoken, it was as though they were watching our every move/bite and could not wait for us to finish. Felt like we were being rushed. Very odd, cold and uncomfortable. I would describe them as "Iron Ladies"."

"Great steaks and excellent service is the good news. The bad news is that people have to scream at eachother to be heard over the loud music that is played during dinner. The restaurant is too loud for anything but a testosterone fueled steak feast for a large group that due to copious wine intake will be screaming anyway. Anyone attempting to have a nice dinner in a smaller group will be disappointed."

"Prefer Abe & Louis and Grill 23 over Del Frisco's. The most expensive steak house in Boston. Food was on par but not worth the 30% price increase over other similar steak house's. Wine list was impressive but 3-4 times price mark up is a stretch."

"Food was outstanding. Steaks were cooked to perfection. Entree (and some appetizer) prices are VERY high and are al a carte. Veggies and potatoes are good for sharing. Waiters try to "up sell" alot and recommend the most expensive items. VERY attentive waitstaff. The place was bustling with graduation dinners."

"This was our second time coming to Del Frisco's. The steaks were great, they compared to what we would have at the Capital Grille. The service was lacking though. When we were taken to our table it hadn't been cleaned yet so they took us back to the front to wait. Then once seated our Server didnt mention any specials just asked what we wanted. I thought that was a little strange. We waited a while after dessert to get the check. Not a comfortable time frame to let dessert settle but almost to the point we thought he forgot about us and maybe went home.
Overall, we probably will not be back even though the food is good. For those prices one would expect stellar service."

"The customer service was outstanding. We always had someone clearing the table of refreshing our drinks..
The food was excellent only issue I had is the vegetables we ordered were buried in green peppers...But the steak was perfect!!
The desert was phenomenal!!"

"No real complaints on the food. However when we showed up about 10 minutes prior to our reservation time the hostess asked if we wanted to wait a few extra minutes so that we could have a table on the water. We agreed and went to the bar. About 20 minutes later the hostess found us and brought us to our table. It wasn't on the water and it was a booth designed to seat 10 people, since there was only 2 of us it was not very comfortable. I would not return to this restaurant nor would I recommend it to anybody else."

"We had 8 people at a table next to the window, overlooking Boston Harbor. The vibe was electric and the food was phenomenal! Try the calamari with a bit of creole kick. The bone-in ribeye was perfect and the lemon cake for dessert - indescribably good!"

"Cocktails were excellent as was the bottle of wine. Appetizers were ok, but nothing special. My partner had the tuna it was cooked perfectly and looked delicious. But It was full of tendons, which made it very hard to chew and enjoy. My ribeye was overcooked, when they took my steak they also took my knife and fork all I had was a cocktail fork, no plate was given or new silver wear placed down until my new steak came back. I also ordered some king crab legs I had them de shelled but they left all the cartilage still in the meat. Again making it hard to enjoy. My steak came back after we had finished his tuna. So I shared my steak with him, my ribeye was very bland. I didn't want dessert but they still brought one over and one to go."

"My husband and I went here last Saturday night with 3 other couples to celebrate my birthday. The bar was packed so it seemed like a very hot place. When we first got there the waitress couldn't have been nicer, but then she disappeared for about 20 minutes. I had the tuna tartare appetizer which was ok, nothing special, and then I had the lobster tail ($108) for my entree. It was gigantic, but it was a little disappointing as it was tough, maybe overcooked. The desserts were very sweet, but again nothing outstanding. I will not be returning anytime soon."
