Camino draws its inspiration from the timeless rustic cooking of Southern France, Italy, and Spain, complimenting it with a sophisticated yet comfortable dining environment. Camino focuses on traditional regional techniques and ingredients while maintaining a clean modern approach to presentation.
"The appetizers were particularly good and I liked the fact that they offered a couple of their entrees in a large version or a smaller one. We were eating early before going to a movie (in the same building)and weren't as hungry as we might have been later in the evening."

"Our waitress kept complaining that the chef kept changing things on the menu on her, but it appeared that she had not actually read the latest version of the menu. We were ready to order and we had to wait although I could plainly see her sitting behind the bar using a tablet (texting her friends perhaps?). Another table actually had to hunt her down to ask for something they needed. The restaurant was not busy so her inattentiveness was inexcusable. When my husband ordered a glass of wine, it turned out the restaurant had run out of that label. Instead of politely suggesting alternatives, the waitress said, "I'm going to try to sell you this. It's basically the exact same thing as the other"...I was not impressed."

"Camino is one of those semi-quirky places that has highs and lows, but never (in our experience) either phenomenal or terrible. While my husband loved his lamb meatballs & duck, I was less impressed with my penne with fennel/pork sausage & rabini. The rabini was excessive -- to the point of being the overwhelming flavor. While I liked the elements, and LOVED the sausage, I had to scrape-off the green to enjoy it at all. But, I was most pleased that my husband so enjoyed his duck....and shared the meatballs with me. We will definitely return, as we have had enjoyable dinners in the past. I truly wish they'd put the oyster stew on the menu more often. It was fantastic when I had it a year ago, and it's been unavailable since. Boo-hoo."

"My wife, grad student daughter and I most certainly enjoyed Camino. The service, ambience, and good conversation was all a joy--and the food was spectacular. The paella was delicious--a tasty blend, not overpowering, with seasoning that amplified rather than dominated. The fennel appetizer was a force of nature--it was so wonderful we wanted it as soup. As well, the wine choices were perfect for the food and the setting--an excellent selection fairly priced. We very much enjoyed the restaurant and will certainly visit again."
