"Have been to The Tea Lounge several times and had great experiences, but this time the service was terrible. Servers rarely came to check on us and failed to bring an additional plate we ordered. I expect much better service for such prices, especially when gratuity is included automatically."

"In the heart of all the hustle, bustle and partying on Las Vegas strip, there is a space for treasured tranquility in the Mandarin Oriental. The hotel is quiet and peaceful and the the High Tea is fabulous! What a lovely way to entertain guests with a great view. Highly reccommended!"

"Great spot ... the highlight is definitely the view. Drinks are great too. Creative, and not overly sweet (some good options for non-sweet cocktails). Food is pretty good ... just tasty bar nibbles. Nice, juicy sliders. The fries with bolognese are a bit weird (as well as under seasoned) ... the again, if you order something like fries bolognese, I guess all bets are off and you get what you get. :) Now, as for service ... let's just say that they leave you plenty of time to enjoy the view. I wouldn't mind waiting for food if at least the initial drink order and water hadn't taken 20 minutes to arrive on a medium-traffic early evening. But the servers were at least friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back."

"It was better the second time around! We enjoy afternoon teas, and try to experience them whenever we travel. The MO-LV is one of the nicer places that provide afternoon teas. The scones were the perfect size, not overly large nor too small. Bite sandwiches were quite tasty, we ordered more. Everything was nicely done."

"This was our second time at the Mandarin Oriental for afternoon tea - this time to celebrate my wife's sixtieth birthday. It was even better than the last time. We had the Champagne Afternoon Tea and the hostess asked if we were celebrating anything. We told her that it was my wife's birthday and towards the end of tea they presented her with a beautifully decorated cup cake. It made a perfect afternoon even better."

"The desserts were fantastic--even better than other afternoon teas that I've been to. The scones were mediocre but overall, this deserves a second visit."

"I was disappointed in the fact that it is supposed to be a 5 star experience and I did not see that. First, I was wearing a dark blue dress and was given a white linen napkin which left fuzz on my dress. Our waitress was less than attentive, we finally tracked down another waitress to help us. The food and tea were fine but I have had better so it was not a redeeming factor. The view is nice but the tea room is in the hotel lobby so you have people checking in to their rooms wondering through the tea room and obstructing the view. Not the experinece I expected."

"Very pleasant staff. Disappointed with the sandwich choice. Scones were lovely. Booked this for Mother's Day treat but overall was disappointed with the experience. Quite expensive for afternoon tea."

"This was my very first experience in having an afternoon tea service. We decided to go on a whim with my good friend and brother. At first, we felt very out of place being there but the staff made us feel very welcome. The comfortable sofa with pillows and the view of the strip from the 23rd floor made us feel at ease. I was tempted to just fall asleep on the sofa after staying up all night gambling. The Tea Lounge has a great selection of fine teas to suit everyone's preference. The service was great. I selected the Japanese Green Tea. The tea was soothing and not bitter at all. The tea service comes with three plates of tiny snacks. Overall a great experience. I can check this off my Bucket List. I would come back again."

"This afternoon tea beat the one I had at the Four Seasons, Las Vegas, but it still didn't come up to the standard of a tea in one of our 5* hotels in London. Our tea, a pot of Yasmin and one of Assam were both pretty weak in flavour. The scones were good as was the strawberry and cranberry conserves. Overall a pleasant experience as a one off."

"We came to Las Vegas from England, and this trip was booked over a year ago. There were 12 ladies celebrating my daughter Emma's hen party as she is getting married in May this year. The Mandarin Oriental definitely delivered. The food was outstanding, and it was everything that we expected it to be. The only down side was that we could not have a table together. Would definitely return and also recommend to others. Tremendous experience."

"Money well spent for afternoon tea. I especially love that they took care to use clotted cream for the scones and not the usual whipped cream. The finger sandwiches and desserts were great too. The service did not really live up to my expectation for this kind of setting/ ambience/ price. The lady that served us brought the food and was holding the plate and talking into the food. Kinda make me lose my appetite thinking of the saliva that might have made its way into the sandwiches. I also understand that the tea pot was heavy but she should carefully put it down on the table and not make a ruckus by slamming it on the table."

"The Tea Lounge is a must try for everyone. The service is excellent. They provide personalized service and have a vast knowledge of the menu. The tea was outstanding. I was amazed of the view near the windows of the Strip. This is highly recommended for anyone trying to escape the noise and hassle of the Las Vegas Strip."

"Tea Lounge at Mandarin Oriental exceeded our expectations. The service was excellent, the meal was presented beautifully, and the view was lovely. The only small complaint is that the chairs were very low to the ground and not comfortable or easy to get up from for a tall person."
