Sky
At Sky, our focus is and always has been on creating great fun American food. The intrinsic design of our dining room and lounge creates an atmosphere of fun casual dining. Sky opened in Sudbury, Massachusetts in October 1997. Sky's mission was to create a city-style restaurant in the suburbs that offered a contemporary, innovative menu with friendly, professional service in a casual, yet sophisticated ambiance. The tremendous success of the first Sky prompted the opening of the second Sky in Norwood, Massachusetts in June 2002. Now open almost seven years, Sky in Norwood has enhanced our reputation for quality, sophisticated dining in the suburbs. 2007 prompted the opening of our 3rd restaurant: 3-Restaurant located in Franklin, Massachusetts eat*drink*celebrate.

"The waiter was very friendly, knowledgable, however it was clear he is not experienced around children and their immediate needs. It took quite some time for him to bring our drinks to the table and when the drinks did arrive he brought all the adults drinks first and had to come back a 2nd round 5 minutes later for the kids drinks. Otherwise food was good but a little overpriced for a suburban restaurant."

"What I love most about this restaurant is the staff. The are courteous, friendly and will take care of your every need. My wife and I had our rehearsal dinner there before we got married and have gone back for every anniversary dinner since. Please go enjoy all that this place has to offer!"

"I have gone to Sky a few times over the years. It had been a couple of years since we ate dinner there and my husband wanted to go. He was right! We had a great experience!
We were greeted by the server promptly, but were not pressured to order drinks right away. He came back with out bottled water and then took our drink order. My husband has a steak and salad which he enjoyed. I had the proscuitto wrapped parm encrusted scallops and shrimp, recommended by the waiter. They were wonderfully tender and flavorful! It came with an usual scampi risotto, also good and different. I do a lot of cooking, but I don't think I could match this meal. We were lucky - large dining room wasntfull, or it could have been loud. Definitely returning again."

"I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and overall everything was great. Danielle was out server and she was great, always smiling and making sure we were happy (thank you Danielle!) . My ONLY complaint is about the crab trio appetizer. The way it's described makes it seem like its going to be these big tasty jumbo lump crab cakes and when they came out they were the size of a nickle!!! For 13 bucks you guys can at least make that cake the size of a half dollar. The crab cakes were great but my five month old daughter could have wiped that plate clean herself and still would have been hungry! Entrees were fantastic!!! (Parm encrusted chicken and the hlf chicken!!!) I will go back again"

"We've been to Sky for many holiday occasions before and went for Mother's Day. The whole experience can best be explained as "off". Our server seemed to be in the weeds the whole time we were there, with long delays in getting drinks and other items we needed. Some food items were really good, such as the seafood risotto ( I was disappointed by the lack of clams), ham and roast beef carving station, and of course the desserts, particularly the chocolate fountain. Other food items ran from just okay to disappointing. Three orders of Eggs Benedict came out with solid yolks, cold English muffins and super thin Canadian bacon, one was completely forgotten. In the end I brought this to the managers' attention and they were very attentive about."

"My family had the Mother's Day dinner buffet. The food was beyond excellent. Every dish had a special flavor. The service was excellent. The fountains and other decorations made the experience seem classy without being stuffy. Our server did a great job, too. Price was pretty steep. If you don't mind that, great place for a special occasion like this."

"We have been to Sky many times over the years - usually for special occasions and have always been happy - not the case on Mother's day when we went for dinner. First, the food was mediocre. I gave it a one star as I paid $49 a person and for this price, the food should be amazing. I tried almost everything that was there and outside of the soup and the smoked salmon, both of which were very good, all else wasn't worth the calories. The chicken piccata was dry and overcooked, the vegies were bland, the mac and cheese (which has a favorite of my kids for years) was no better than what I make at home from the box and they were out of many of the items. I was embarrassed as this was supposed to be a special meal. Probably our last visit!"

"The chef offers interesting combinations so there is something to please most tatste. The pomodoro [shrimp and mussels over angelhair pasta was tasty. The peanut sauce on the sword fish was a bit too much and gave the dish a slightly sour taste. The calamari was excellent and plentyful [I too some home]. A wonderful dining experience overall."

"I have really enjoyed Sky for dinner and drinks and was really excited about going there for brunch. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and sat promptly. Sky brunch is a Buffett set up with a lot of options from everything from build your own omelette to a chocolate fountain with fresh fruit. We were there on the earlier side and most of the trays remained closed and unmarked. We were unsure whether to help ourselves or wait for a staff member. The food was okay nothing that made either of us want seconds. The make your own Bloody Mary bar and live jazz was great! For the price of the brunch and overall experience, I will continue to recommend Sky for dinner but not for brunch."

"Visited Sky/Norwood for our family's Easter Brunch gathering. Our waitress was attentive, explained all our options for the buffet - including the make-your-own Bloody Mary bar - which we quickly took advantage of!! Buffet items were outstanding...and layout very organized for patrons to quickly pass through without too many waits or roadblocks! Along with a variety of breakfast and dinner items readily available in chaffing dishes, they also had a center chefs table where you could have personal egg dishes created along with carving of meat, pork and lamp. Dessert buffet fabulous as well - including marshmallow peeps and a chocolate fountain! Will return again for other holiday celebrations. Great value!"

"Waitress started out okay, but towards the end of the meal she just had tuned out. Took to long to even order desert let alone get it. The food was good, not awesome, but good and we will return. "I have to say that the food was very good; We ordered The Prime Rib which was delicious and The Prosciutto Parmesan Crusted Scallops and Shrimp which was awesome. The service was beyond excellent...Our waitress was the best we ever had "Katie"; she was so attentive without being annoying. We decided to share our dishes and she had them split for the two of us so we did not have to do ourself. The desert "Boston Creme Cake" was to die for...and it was a special touch when she was nice enough to add a candle for my friend celebrating the Birthday. Oh and I forgot to mention the Espresso Martini's which were too good; because you wanted to keep ordering them! Look forward to going again."

"Went out w/ a group of family members to celebrate multiple birthdays and pregnancies. Our waiter was super-attentive and full of suggestions from the menu. Food was delicious - portions aren't massive (esp given the price), but still filling. I've been before for their Sunday brunch - highly recommend!"

"We had a nice time at Sky. Our server Matthew was very attentive, and the food was delish. As I was about to sign the bill, the server was so kind to revise the bill with half price apps as we were there before 6pm. I really appreciated the honesty and thus I upped the tip.
Only flaw is the music that Sky plays in the dining room. I like music, but not when dining in an upscale eatery. Its cheesy, and I would not do a business lunch or dinner at Sky due to the completely out of place music. I think quiet instrumental would be more fitting."

"Recently went to Sunday Brunch. The food was wonderful - great flavors and selection. Everything from a pistachio bread pudding to great omelets and chicken, fish and vegetarian dishes. A jazz band added to the ambiance. And, the staff were very helpful and friendly."

"Our first time there.. Quite honestly... I googled "all you eat brunch.. " SKY came up.. We decided to try it... I have already recommended it to friends.. We will go back definitely.. The brunch was awesome.. The bloody Mary's were great too.. A++ all around.. :o)."

"We found the food good, however the prices were high in comparison to other suburban places that we frequent more often. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Like the menu choices between full dinners and sandwiches/salads, if you would like something lighter"

"I had a business meeting at Sky and it was an excellent evening. The hostess was exceptionally polite and helpful, and we were seated promptly in a quiet area where we could speak openly. The waiter was prompt and polite, and left us alone once the food was served. Though we only ended up purchasing burgers and drinks, it was perfect and the food was well prepared and presented. It was a bit pricey for what we ordered, but I viewed it as money well spent as we were also paying for the atmosphere. Upon leaving, the hostess retrieved out coats, asked us about our meals and then walked us out. I will most certainly bring clients and prospects back here in the future."

"The wait staff stopped by the table just often enough to ask about coffee and to refill the water glasses. This was refreshing compared to other restaurants. The build your own omelet service was excellent as the time from order to deliver was within minutes. Then there was the chocolate fountain, that is something that is saved for a special occasion! I plan on returning soon."

"We've been to Sky before with other couples, as in this eve, and with our children. Seated promptly upon arrival. prior to 6 pm appetizers were a special price. We had the tuna tartare and spring rolls. Our friends always get the spring rolls, and like them. tuna tartare was very good, as well. We all enjoyed our dinners. My frind love the Salmon, and orders it all the time. I enjoyed the salmon as well. it was a good experience, and we'll be back."

"Dining room could be cozier divided into two or three rooms...felt too large and banquet like. Bar area with fireplace warm and festive. Husbands prime rib was excellent. My miso glazed salmon was not the best tasting, too fishy, and I do eat salmon often. Scallion rice cake too pasty. Will try again but sky is not a place we would dine at often. We would be more likely to have dinner in bar area which we both liked more."

"We love going to Sky, but since it's a little pricey we save it for special occasions. We had dinner there for Valentine's Day and we were not disappointed. The service is always impeccable, the food mouth watering, and the ambiance wonderful. It's nice to have such a wonderful restaurant so close by and not have to drive into Boston. I would highly recommend going to Sky if you haven't yet."
