"This place is pretty striaght to the point. It's not cheap, but the steaks are worth it and considering its bring your own bottle, its great to cozy up to a warm filet with your favorite vino."

"We are never disappointed here at the Wayne Steak House. The food is top quality and always cooked to perfection. Service continues to be prompt and courteous with everyone pitching in at times to make things go smoother. I have been here six or seven times and I don't think I have ever been able to finish my plate. That makes for an outstanding dinner the following evening where we get to finish our wine as well. I will be back may times for an experience that is always unforgettable."

"Forget the twenty page menu with fifteen pasta, a dozen seafood and ten chicken dishes...this is a steakhouse. Filet Mignon was our choice for both of us and we got all sixteen ounces that we ordered and they were done perfectly. The meal came with a bread basket, French fried onion rings, and a garden salad. We added sautéed spinach and whole button mushrooms. We ate half of what was served and brought the rest home. We skipped what appeared to be an adequate selection of deserts, but a plate of Schlage with blackberries and strawberries was served complimentarily. It was delectable. Priced what you would expect for prime aged beef entrees, sides were ten dollars. The restaurant is BYOB. Service was prompt without being overbearing."

"Good steaks, complimentary salad and onion rings nice touch for steak house. Byb brings down cost. Table too small and steaks came out way too soon after apps are only complaints. Would return"

"My wife and I were extremely impressed with the quality of the dinner. Mussels and White sauce (appetizer)was great, extremely fresh, perhaps the best mussels we have ever had. Porterhouse Steak for two done medium rare - quality, tenderness and amount exceeded our expectations. The steak came out sizziling hot and the server had it carved perfectly and served it to each of us with just the right amount of seasoning. Sides of asparagus and mushrooms and complimentary lightly batterred onion rings were great. Finally we were given a complementary berrys and cream dish to finish it off. Highly reccomend the Wayne Steakhouse finally BYOB is a huge plus as well. The service was top notch with several waiters attending to us. Great experience!!"

"Where the decor isn't the fanciest in the world, if that helps make the food taste like it did, I'M FINE WITH IT! We were able to modify our reservation easily from 4 to 8. All I can say about the steak is...WOW! Fantastic meal and sides. The owner even came to our table and asked about the meal and what they could do to make it better. Tables were a bit close together, but after a few minutes, honestly, we didn't even notice anymore. Can't wait to go back again!"

"From the outside you would never guess what you are about to experience on the inside. Aestetically could use some exterior work, but beautiful inside. Best filet I've ever had. Service was great and the BYO offsets the steep entree prices. But 100% worth every penny. We will definitely be back."

"Amazing steak. Great for anyone who does not want to drive to Manhattan or Brooklyn for an amazing aged steak. Delicious. My son's 13th birthday request to go here. He was in heaven with his steak and bacon appetizer. The wait staff sang a wonderful rendition of Happy Birthday and he was pleasantly embarrassed. Thank you."

"It was our first time that We tried this place. Well we were so pleasantly surprised here, the steaks were fabulous & unlike other steakhouses the portions were plentiful. We want quality & taste & we got it all. The steak for 2 was big enough for 3! The sizzling steaks were meaty & delicious. The jumbo shrimp cocktails were outstanding! The tomato & onions also excellent & so were our side dishes. The service was attentive & unobtrusive. We were treated very well. The chief Tony came to our table to ask how was everything he was very nice . We will definitely return. What a find!
***And don't forget it's BYOB*** !!!"

"We were disappointed in the service at the Wayne Steak House. Felt that our waiter was not attentive. We also feel that their prices are outrageous. (Come on, $89 for a surf and turf!) This is a steak house that is next to a billiards hall and has the prices of a restaurant in NYC and New York City it is not! We will say that the food was very good, as it should be, but due to the prices and service, we will not be returning. Everything is ala carte, except for a delicious (I will say) salad and onion rings. Best thing about Wayne Steak house is it's a BYO. One other thing - ask the waiter the cost of the specials, so that you're not shocked when the check comes!"

"I went to Wayne Steak House to celebrate my daughters wedding anniversary, this was my first time. The food was excellent, the steaks were cooked to perfection. We had the a couple of appetizers that were great. We had the bacon and onions and tomatoes, also had oysters that were a special that night. The serve a house salad for the table and offer onion rings with dinner which is a nice touch. The service was great and we had an excellent time. I have been to Luger in Brooklyn a number of times and the food is comparable."

"Three of us celebrated my wife's Birthday on a Saturday evening and were not disappointed. The food was top-notch, and nothing was overcooked and the service was excellent. They were very attentive but not intrusive. Everything went well and we had a great time. This was our fourth experience with the Wayne Steak House and I can guarantee there will be many, many more."

"The filet mignon on the bone was heavenly delicious! It was something new for me to eat it with bone. The price was above average and glad that I felt the price was well-worth to spend."

"The steaks were delicious and the noise level, though robust on a Friday night, still permitted conversation to take place. It's was pretty expensive, even though it's a BYO."

"We had reservations at 7:30 for a party of 6. We waited for 5 minutes or so for the previous party to finish up before being seated. Once seated service was quick and food was served even quicker. We had ordered an ala cart side dish for the table with the main course and they did not realize they did not have enough until they had served everyone but the last person at the table. Service was nearly non-existent after dinner waiting nearly 10 minutes just to get dessert menus. Waiter forgot a coffee and after ten minutes I had to get up to tell him."

"I had driven by the restaurant a lot, however, ate there for the first time just recently. It has to be one of the better restaurants in this part of Wayne, however, it was just OK. The service staff was friendly yet quite inattentive. The decor is plain, with simple white walls and overly bright lights. I expected the attire to be more dressy. Many wore jeans and two men actually wore hats. The food eaten was good, especially the creamed spinach (and the deserts). Believe it or not the almost $100 steak my wife and I ate was delicious, but wasn't memorable. I was thrown off by the waiter putting steak sauce on the table. (I can cover a steak at home with the same sauce and get a similar taste.) I do not plan to return."

"Had dinner here on Valentine's Day. Ordered the Porterhouse steak for two, and it was excellent. Very flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Considering how busy it was that night, the staff did a good job on their service. Prices are on par with top NJ/NYC steakhouses, but the BYO factor keeps it reasonable. The steak comes with a house salad and onion rings (no modifications allowed), and anything else is ala carte. Will definitely go back many times."

"Food is always incredible! Pricy, but at least we do not need to go to NYC for a great Steak House. You can put it up there with the big boys (Sparks, Smith & Wollensky, Peter Lugers ETC) We had the seafood tower for 4, oh my GOD! it was delicious. Then we went with the bone in Filet Mignon, perfect!"

"Everything was good but not great. For $90+ the porterhouse for two was good, but not exactly cooked to perfection; ordered medium rare but the filet side came out more medium; for that price, I expected better."

"This was the third time we have dined at the Wayne Steak House. The first two times were good, but not great. The third time was a charm! I was blown away by just how good our dinner was! The steak was out of this world (and I typically eat at the best steak houses in NYC on a regular basis). The service was fantastic. Overall, it was truly a great dining experience and I highly recommend this restaurant."

"We arrived at 7:25pm for a 7:30pm reservation. There was a crowd gathered in the front of the restaurant full of other diners who also had reservations. No one was even acknowledged. Waited 45 minutes to finally be seated and after a long wait and a lot of hype, it wasn't worth it. If you want a good steak and great service in the area, go to the River Palm."
