"Went for breakfast. Since Turtle Bay removed Palm Terrace and put in Kula, I expected to be amazed by the new menu and farm fresh food. Sadly, it's the same. Food was average. I had Fench Toast and my husband had the Pinapple Fosters Waffle. It was better than. The Buffett which had the same, sad, cold food as before. Unfortunately, Kula is really the only option for breakfast at Turtle Bay. Maybe with the renovation they will fix up some of the other restaurants menus to have better breakfasts."

"I was disappointed on a few points. I choose to try this new restaurant thinking I've never been here before. We sat at the same table when we came here about 8 months ago; when it was called Leonardo's (Italian). The prices are much more expensive. The food photo is of their Beet salad ($13) which was okay but very petite. One small red beet & pink beet sliced goat cheese, sprouts, 3" of watermelon diced, w/ dressing. Their ahi poke was about $15, shrimp entree $27, opah entree $29, desert $10+. I tried using the Open Table certificates and the waitress said she never knew anything about it and had to find the manager for approval. It was very embarrassing. She wanted to inspect the certificate and letter prior and warned me that"

"Was excited to try out this new farm-to-table restaurant at Turtle Bay. Food was good, but was way overpriced for the portion size. Drinks were just so-so.The phallic-like image of a hand picking a taro root behind the bar had obviously not been reviewed before being installed."
