Since opening in the fall of 2010, Sand Spring Modern Cuisine has been making its mark as one of the more unique dining experiences in the Pocono Mountain region.

"Wonderful creative menu. Friendly relaxed service. The Pappardelle was delicious and just the right portion size for a starter. My rack of lamb were perfectly grilled and presented with a lovely creamy risotto. Our family celebrated Mother's Day with dinner for 6 adults. All enjoyed their meals and are eager to return."

"14 of us went to dinner, the reservation was originally for 10. They had no problem accomidating us and gave us a private room! All 14 had a Very good meal and all would go back again! Our waiter Tom was the best!"

"food was excellent, staff was attentive and knowledgeable, and ambiance was very understated and classy. I would highly recommend a stop by Sand Spring. the setting is very woodsy; we were there in winter but no doubt in spring it's quite beautiful."

"Sand Spring has been consistently good until this last visit. It was crowded. It was a holiday weekend. But you'd think professionals would be able to handle that. It doesn't happen very often. I don't mind if I have to wait awhile for my meal - in this case over an hour. What's upsetting is that no one felt the need to come over and say we'd be served soon.
My meal was Salmon in a lentil broth, except the broth was tap water and not very appetizing. I will wait awhile before I return, if ever."

"This restaurant never fails to provide a wonderful dining experience. Both the "entree" and "bar" menus are new and exciting and provide a wide range of choices. Cocktails were perfectly prepared, dinner and dessert (all house made)fabulous and, as usual, impeccable service. As a side note I now understand Sandspring offers Thursday and Friday night specials. Next visit for me will be the friday night prime rib special."
