In business since 1984, La Bruschetta has won a loyal neighborhood following and has long been one of the more serious -- and relaxed -- places to dine close to Westwood Village. The simple yet handsome dining room works well for many occasions: it can be romantic, it suits the needs of business people and it is also an ideal restaurant to bring visiting relatives. The kitchen prepares a wide range of intriguing pasta dishes -- some hearty, some delicate, most of them noteworthy. Deftly prepared classic northern Italian entrées, most reasonably priced, range from veal scaloppine to osso buco.
"Always enjoy this restaurant. Food excellent, service superb and friendly. One of our regular spots. A little more upscale than the rest of the Italian restaurants in the area. Had a lovely dinner with out of town guests."

"The service here is incredibly good. Seriously. The waiter was so nice and funny and even brought out a dessert for my belated birthday just b/c he carded me and saw it was five days ago. Also the food is delicious so that can't hurt either."

"We've been going there for 20 years. We retired to Palm Springs area and we make special effort to get back to L.A. and eat at La Bruschetta. We've had a number of very special dinners there. Always welcoming - Angelo and his son are terrific. The food is excellent and they have a nice wine selection."

"I love the food here. And the owner makes it a point to come over to every table. Very friendly. Their beet & burrata salad was the best I've had anywhere in a long time. And we love the bruscetta here! Roasted chicken was excellent too."

"From the moment Alfredo greets you at the door, you know that you are in for a pleasant dining experience. I come from Philly, whose south side is home to some of the best Italian food on the east coast, and La Brischetta did not disappoint. Great decor, friendly but not overbearing service and excellent food. I'll be back!"

"Excellent food and service was very personable and attentive. There was a tv episode being filmed but it was very subdued....actually a conversation between the two actors at a private, assumably over dinner! Did not interfere with our experience at all. High quality Italian food. Great neighborhood find! Would go again"

"We had one of those waiters who acted as if he was God's gift to customers but Angelo, the owner more than made up for it. He always makes you feel like you have been invited into his home."

"We had a lovely post-movie dinner at La Bruschetta. The maitre d' was attentive and friendly as always since he knows my parents. The food was excellent with a fine combination of on menu options and a long list of specials. The atmosphere was relaxed and we ended up closing the place."

"Friendly & good service - waiter had great personality. He was also able to make recommendations and answer questions @ various entrees. Restaurant was not busy so it was easy to converse...however, it was evident that other tables could hear our conversation. Lighted like a dining room...not for romance."
