"Have thoroughly enjoyed my several trips to Thailand in the form of dining at Kindee Thai. The lighting soars, the photo mural does truly take me back to the two years I lived there. The tastes are truly Thai!"

"My wife and I have season tickets to Guthrie so end up eating within 3-4 blocks of theater 10 times a year. We have been to everything and most multiple times. I love thai/asian but wife would always steer us away as it was just ok before last friday's visit to Kindee. This time it was exceptional, so much so that she suggested we need to go back more often. I think it wil become a a first choice rather than a "what about..." for us on opening night. Well done and priced right."

"The Thai Basil chicken I had was excellent with just the right amount of spice and the jasmine rice was cooked to perfection. My one complaint was with the wait staff. They did not bring us the salads we ordered, nor did they ask if we were enjoying the meal, nor did they refill our water. If the restaurant were crowded I would understand it better, but it was at best at 1/3 capacity. Good food, but the service left something to be desired"

"The food was very enjoyable. The spices was flavorful and not just bland heat. I was happy to see that there was both a white and brown rice option with no additional charge for choosing brown. The only thing I thought needed improving upon was that my curry dish could have used far more vegetables. It seemed there was merely one piece of each. They were more generous with the rice! Our server was very nice, however I do recall getting thirsty at one point while waiting for our waters to be refilled even though we were the only patrons in the restaurant besides two other occupied tables. Overall, it was a positive experience. I would both recommend it to others as well as go back myself."

"We made it a 'Thai tapas' outing, trying various items on the appetizer menu. The fresh spring rolls are simply fabulous, perfectly spicy on their own due to the mix of herbs within. The skewers of fried tofu were light and crisp, and the accompanying "peanut brittle" sauce was sweet and tangy. The son-in-law eggs were a wonderful surprise, neither of us had ever tried a deep fried hard cooked egg before, nice crunchy outside, deep fried onions and the tamarind sauce set off both nicely. The beef lettuce wrap was quite bland compared to all the other dishes. My favorite entree here is Rad Na, make it as zippy as you want with the Thai spice caddy on your table. Lunch is great, gets packed before Guthrie shows. Great service!"

"Was looking for a unique neighborhood spot and this was a gem. I could not pronounce the names of the dishes but they sure tasted good. Awesome find and a great value for the buck as well."

"Nice place to go for Thai before the Guthrie. Reservations accepted a plus. The waitress was mindful of time to make the theater. Food was served slightly cool. Appetizers were good"

"Appetizers were good, the main entrees were also good, but two of us asked for a moderate spice level and our food has absolutely no heat. That was disappointing. Our server was a bit out of it, forgetting to bring things we asked for, not clearing dishes we were done with, did not offer dessert."

"Food quality & service has deteriorated substantially since I last ate at KinDee. Rice undercooked and overcooked at the same time. Flavorless curry."

"Not everything on the menu is great, but my Roasted Duck curry was one of the best curries I've ever had. The unique part was the little twists of roasted duck skin, which sort of had the flavor of foi gras, if I remember the flavor of foi gras correctly. Anyways, the plating was really unique too, and the dining room was really small, and the tables were small and intimate, so you're really close to your dinner-mates. I went on Valentines Day, and I thought it was romantic. THe location is so nice, cause it's right next to the Guthrie, and right next to the walking bridge across the Mississippi."

"We had a business dinner at Kindee Thai with several guests from out of the country. Most agreed that the food was very good and that we would return."
