Join us at Bistro Turkuaz for an evening of authentic Turkish food!
From its roots in Central Asia, the Turkish cuisine became rich and varied, a reflection of the journey to Asia Minor and the great expanse of the Ottoman Empire. At our bistro, you will experience a flavorful culinary tradition with elements of Greek, Persian, and Middle Eastern dishes.
Bistro Turkuaz also tells the story of a valuable Persian gem that was traded in the bazaars of Turkey in the 16th Century and then sold to Europeans by Venetian merchants. The French mistakenly named this blue-green gem turquoise, meaning Turkish.
We invite you to share the colorful history and flavors of Turkish food with your friends and family in the warm atmosphere of the Bistro Turkuaz.
"Very sweet find, with lovely service, attentive owner and lovingly prepared Turkish food. It will redefine some standard dishes - giving them an exquisite flavor not found in grocery store containers."

"We love this place. The food, the friendly service and the ambiance are all terrific. We have been several times and chose it this year for our anniversary dinner. I particularly like their lamb dishes and we both love the Turkuaz Platter for an appetizer. Their honeyless baklava is the only baklava I eat. Others are too sticky sweet."

"The food was delicious -- we had fish and the "pasta" dish. We also ordered the beets and baklava, both of which were very good. It was a little pricey for what we ordered.
The wait staff was nice, and the restaurant was cozy, although the door constantly opening made it cold."

"The food is authentically Turkish and tasty as we know from travels there. Portions are petite though, and rather high priced for the quantity composition and accompanying ambience. The dining room is also extremely compact and very noisy when full. One needs to raise their voice almost to a shout to be heard across the table at such times. On cold evenings, diners near the front will be blasted by cold drafts when people enter or depart the restaurant, which is frequently."

"Healthy, great white lentil soup with lemon, tasty chicken kabobs, fresh salads, great appitizers. All served up by an attentive freindly waitress. The wine list is alittle shoret but who cares the food is exceptional."
