"We gathered for a special occasion and had to yell at the person next to us to be heard, the music was so loud. The waitress had to yell out the specials/soup of the day, too. We wanted to enjoy our time together, instead it was like being at a loud concert. We won't return."

"The Casino Wharf never fails to deliver. We had a wonderful Saturday evening dinner on the deck. The food was excellent, had a Halibut Special that was really great. The drinks were made just as we wanted them and the service was outstanding. We eat here 4 to 5 times per year and really enjoy it, the experience is very consistent and that's important to us."

"Good food overall. Wine list was reasonable in selection and price. Nice jazz vocalist - unexpected. Great outside deck but too cold for us to enjoy. Interior decor is a little bit TGI Fridays.... None the less, good food, good service."

"We had a group of 7 for lunch on the deck on a beautiful day. What a treat! Food was generally quite good. My dish was the only disappointment- only 3 scallops on the salad. But we shared so many things and others were very tasty. I must say, our server was attentive, pleasant and has a smile that rivaled the brightness of the sun. She seem delighted we were there. What a treat! Kudos to the hostess and staff as well. While the day was sunny, there was cool breeze. They let us decide whether to eat inside or on the deck and set up a table in both locations for us."

"Location is beautiful. Dining room is beautiful. View is wonderful. Noise level - very loud. Food and service very good.
My husband and I dined here off season and loved the menu. The menu had a variety items from sandwiches to full entrees. Prices were reasaonable. Our latest visit we were presented with the summer menu. It's much more expensive and only pricey entrees available on the menu. We were surprised and disappointed in the change of the menu."

"We went to Casino Wharf FX for the ocean view and were not disappointed. The lunch menu was limited to soups, salad, sandwiches, with a fish & chip special. Someone in our party had been before (possibly while under different management) and was looking forward to a seafood meal. The tuna steak sandwich was good, and the chicken BLT received raves."

"Could be so much better than it is. The view is what draws people and its wonderful. The staff overall are nice and reasonably professional but with a bit of training could be very good. The main course was good, but again could be better - bread was stale and the oil mixture dry. Have to ask for things more than once. Wine glasses are what you'd expect in an inexpensive pub. Although the meal is certainly important to me, the little things are what add up to an experience."

"The servers are very nice and the decor was extremely nice. It was so nice that I was a bit taken aback when the waitress showed up in a T shirt chewing gum. When I could pull myself away from the beautiful view out the window, I did realize that it is more of a pub restaurant than the decor would have you believe. When they brought the wrong wine, and got our appetizer wrong also I chuckled a bit, but the wine they brought was excellent, and the food was very nice. I would definitely recommend it, but do realize it's just a neighbourhood restaurant."

"This place is a family favorite, particularly before the high summer season. Packed early on a Saturday night, two ordered the prime rib special (great option per the carnivores), one steak, one salmon dinner plus an order of mussels (superb!) for the table. Everyone was quite happy with their meals. I know the Casino has a new chef. Given we really liked the work of the former chef, I am glad to see the dedication to quality is still there. Was a bit chaotic, believe understaffed service wise, but the staff was cheerful and were clearly working very hard."
