"i am a vegetarian, so I asked for a veggie plate. The asparagus were fried in the same oil with meat, so they tasted like meat.
I asked for fries with the sauce on the side, but they brought the fries with butter sauce all over it.
The risotto wasn't very good, too much lemon on it.
This was dinner at 5:00pm on May 12, 2013."

"We'd been to the RFH for happy hour but never for dinner. With the exception of the crab cakes, tasteless and mostly bread, we were not disappointed. Server (Liz) was excellent w/o being intrusive. We did not have window seats but still had a somewhat-pleasant view."

"Everything about our evening at the Fish House was wonderful - welcoming staff at front desk, expeditious staff in the bar, cocktail server very knowledgable helpful, as well as fun!! Dining room server was a pleasure to have with us, the sommelier was gratious and helpful, despite being obviously busy. The food was excellent and had great presentation. Would definitely return!!!"

"On the regular menu, salmon and halibut range between $35-40. Ringside is the "steakhouse" for seafood: Simple, straightforward preparation without a lot of fuss that demands impeccably fresh fish. Ringside provides it. A salad of red and golden beets was wonderful, and desserts including creme brulee and a variation on the theme of chocolate mousse were satisfying but not over-indulgent. Friendly, professional service. The view over Director's Park, especially at night, is delightful with the ever-changing light show from the park's canopy."

"Excellent service. The employees work very hard to make the restaurant a special place for diners (although the plates were put in front of the wrong people). Very good food, but not spectacular. Prices are in range for what they are trying to be. The layout of the restaurant, and location work against the ambiance. It would have been better if it were higher in the building...the view out the window is the back of a sign. The letters in FOX TOWER have holes in the back. I'll go back."

"Started the meal off with onion rings-- they ended up being the best part of the whole meal. Total for a family of 4 was $250 after tax and gratuity. Ordered 3 fish entrees and a steak. The fatty and poorly trimmed steak was ordered medium rare and came well done-- the new one came out 30 minutes later. The manager said that they rarely mess up fish dishes but sometimes the execution isn't right on steaks, (pull steak off the menu if your kitchen can't cook them). The fish dishes were bland and the sides were terribly small after being told that they would be easly shared by two people and were $12 each. Let's just say it was subpar at best, a failed attempt to compete with other establishments at the same price point."

"Food was fresh & deliciously prepared. Waitstaff was very friendly but more in keeping with a casual restaurant rather than an upscale dining - the rhythm felt awkward or a little off. Also, the selection of fish was very limited.
They have valet parking but if you self park restaurant validation only covered half which is OK but wish our server would have told us."

"The food was out of this world!! We both had drinks to start, my wife had 2 lemon drops and I an Absolut on the rocks (nice, generous pour). We split the Crabcake appetizer (very fresh), and my wife had a knife & fork Ceasar Salad which had the freshest Parmesan on top! For our entrees, she had a herb & Dijon encrusted swordfish (it's actually Rockfish on the current menu) and I the Cedar Plank Salmon - what a wonderful meal!"

"I really like this restaurant except for one thing. When asked if I could substitute a vegetable for mashed potatoes there was a $5.00 charge. Yes I said $5.00 for some spinach instead of mashed potatoes. In a age where healthy eating should be a priority (even for restaurants) I found this to be a little much. Happy to pay some type of sub fee but not that much."

"Last weekend, 7 of us came in for dinner because I'd been given a $20 off coupon at the Seafood/Wine Fest & I was wanting to use it. I'd also seen it from the street & had been anxious to try it. We had drinks in the bar prior. I loved that HH goes until 7 pm!
Our group was given our dining room table early, which got us off to a good start.
The service was a tad slow, but we were having a great time. Our prime rib meals were delectable, but had to be sent back to be re-warmed. I didn't care. The lobster bisque was so good, I could have just eaten that & been a happy. A big thing to me is photos, so when our server gladly took a shot of our group & offered to take another, I was sold."

"great cocktails, food was perfectly cooked, with generous portions. lobster bisque was excellent, potato leek soup spicier than I was expecting, entrees were a little boring. I am probably just spoiled, given the other places in town that are available to blow $30 for an entree. would go back for happy hour, as the menu for that looked good"

"Food was very good as it has been before.
We had a new server...his inexperienced showed (took 10 minutes to bring out the last salad for a party of 4 despite saying it would be right out/he asked if we'd been there before and when responded "yes" he still gave us a 5 minute oration on the restaurant and its menu, sustainability practices...wonder how long he would have talked if said "no")
Also, were seated under a speaker...the music was VERY loud at times lat our table due to this. We were told it could not be turned down so we endured through it instead of moving after we had already started our meal. Our conversations were definitely affected depending on the song being played."
