"Scenic view of the down town area. We got to see about 100 police chasing some protesting college kids. Food was very good. Filet was tender and full of flavor. Waiter was attentive at first but maybe not staffed high enough. We ordered a 2nd bottle of wine which was never brought (restaurant lost $125h) and bill took a long time. We left earlier than we would have because of the service at the end. I would tell folks food is very good but not sure of the service. Too many restaurants in the area. You always need to bring your a game! These guys did not, I would rate it a B-"

"This restaurant was one of the best dining experiences we had in Montreal. We had a group of 13 people and the food, service and ambience was perfect. Lavi, our server was especially attentive and knowledgeable about the food and wine. He really made the experience that much better. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to our clients and anyone that is looking for a space to wow your company or group. Fabulous!"

"We arrived early for our reservation, but they provided a table immediately, and the phenomenal service began from the moment that we arrived.
The combinations of tastes that the chef utilized was awesome, and the presentation was enticing.
Our server was beyond perfect in all aspects, offering tips and suggestions throughout the dinner.
The owner himself, frequented all the tables throughout the restaurant and genuinely cared about everything constantly.
Definitely a highly recommended spot and will absolutely be on the return reservation list in the very near future"

"Food was delicious but service was long and disorganized. I was disappointed as great service was their claim to fame. Food was well prepared and presented.
Too many staff were involved at our table, so no continuity in what we were ordering. Also got 1 extra bottle of wine on our bill. They fixed that mistake as soon as we noticed it.
I will try one more time to change my perception of the place, as the food was really very good."

"We were 3 guests celebrating a 60th birthday. The whole meal was flawless from the plate of cheese and sausage as a mise en bouche to the vanilla cake and mini canolis for desert. As appetizers we had a roquette salad that was chosen not to overstuff the guest who had ordered the ossobuco as a main course. We also had the scallops that were seared perfectly and the fried calamari that can easily be shared by two guests. The calamari were fried without being soggy or rubbery. The ossobuco comes with a risotto and a spoon to eat the bone marrow. We also ordered the cavatelli that were aldente a great combination with mushrooms and pancetta. The stuffed shrimps were as delicious as appealing. Special mention for the bread and Sicilian grissini"

"The food was outstanding and the owner of the restaurant was very pleasant. The service was amazing, I took my girlfriend here for Valentines day and we ordered the rack of lamb and the seafood linguine and every ounce of it was amazing. From the marinated lamb to the sauce on the linguine. The service was fantastic, we arrived to bruschetta and melba toast with some salami and cheese. Then bread was given accompanied by olive oil and balsamic. My only complaint was that they took the bread away before the meal had arrived, but that wasn't a big deal. The live music might have only been for Valentines day, but the two performers were fantastic.
In summation, I highly recommend this for any occasion or romantic evenings."

"Hubby and I, along with 3 coworkers went to this gem of a restaurant. Not only is this restaurant elegantly decorated, but they honoured my request to be seated near the fireplace. Our waiter, Lavi (sp) was serviable, polite and patient, as was the owner, Vince. We all had different entrees and main courses...from the fried calamari and mozzarella di bufala antipasti to the seafood pasta, risotto, osso bucco, veal and lamb piatti(s)....all the dishes, without exception were fresh and a joy to savor... yummy and delightful !!! I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone who wishes to have a lovely evening either with friends or as a romantic evening 'en tete-a-tete'. I look forward to going back !!!!"

"Wonderful environment and attentive service - but the food was not great. For $50 I expected the veal chop to be cooked as I specified. When I expressed my concerns about it being overcooked I was told that it would take a really long time to fix the situation. FAIL! Would never recommend this place."

"We were a group of seven. You probably would not want to be more than eight in a group there. The food was very good and it took some time for it to arrive but was worth the wait. The table service however was very disappointing. We waited long stretches for anyone to attend to us (and the place was not that busy) and on two occasions had to ask for attention. As good as the food was and as nice a spot as it is, Montréal has plenty of restaurants that are just as good on food and ambiance but with better service."
