"Great restaurant, casual, relaxed, sports-bar feel. Here for lunch today. Great menu for lunch, salads, sandwiches, entree's for the really hungry. We both had salads thinking we would have a light meal. The salads were hugh, lots of greens, all fresh ingredients, great dressings. Service was excellent, server knew menu well, answered our questions thoroughly, attentive without hovering. Would definitely come back next time in the area, would also try dinner selections."

"Noisy beyond belief! One big room with kitchen, bar, and dining. Casual. We walked in and were blasted by the noise of the place, sat down and before we ordered we left. The noise level was so high it hurt!"

"TOO LOUD! We had to sit outside just to be able to hear each other talk. However, the outside patio was very comfortable (and quiet). :-)I had the scallops (atop potato cakes). They were absolutely delicious!"

"Made reservations at 6:00pm to so our table of 4 could have good conversation. By 6:30pm it was so noisy we could hardly hear ourselves across the table. None out of 4 thought the meal was outstanding. Shrimp was tough in the Shrimp and grits. (Shrimp and Grits the week before at 333 in Oceanside had 50% more shrimp at $2.00 more for the entre.) A review of our bill after leaving the restaurant found our table was charged for 1 drink we didn't have. The entire staff was very pleasent and friendly but we are not planning on returning. Would probably suit a younger crowd rather than our older foursome."

"Restaurant is too dark. I like to see the people I'm dining with. Perhaps it's good if you aren't attracted to your date. ;) the live band, although very good, was just too loud. I go to a restaurant to eat and talk. If I wanted to listen to music I'd go to a club or concert. The music shouldn't interfere with your dining experience, but enhance it. The food is fine. I think too pricey for the quality, but the food is the best part of this restaurant."

"Had a reservation for 6:30pm and after a wait for the hostess to seat others ( took about 5 minutes )we were seated. Other than the initial wait the rest of the staff's serevice was excellent. Sonny, our waiter was very knowledgeable about the wine selection as well as the menu. I had the rack-of-lamb and my wife had the ribeye. Both were outstanding as was the calamari appetizer. The noise level was a little high but the service and food was A plus.
Would go back in a heart beat, but they sdhould have at least have 2 people watching the front area"

"My boyfriend and I went to Tommy V's for a Valentine's Day dinner for the first time. Was a bit noisy at first because of how busy it was, however after a little bit of time it quieted down. The food and service was outstanding! They even had live music! We will definitely be visiting Tommy V's again soon :-)"

"Made a 6:30 reservation through Opentable.com. Had email confirmation from Opentable for 6:30 reservation. Got to restaurant and hostess informed me that our reservation was at 5:30 and they gave our table away. Showed our confirmation email for 6:30 reservation. They took 20 minutes to set up our table with no offer of a drink while we waited. There were no chairs to sit down so we just stood there for 20 minutes. Owner of restaurant came up to us and said that computers will never take place of humans and it was Opentables fault. She was very unproffesional. Service was slow and food was okay."

"Our Server was exceptionally knowledgable of the entire menu. I am on Weight Watchers and my request was for the lightest healthful meal possible without giving up taste. He described the owner as flexible and allows for special orders. Our server requested vegetables instead of mashed potatoes, and a light oil sauce instead of heavy butter. OUTSTANDING Wild Salmon. My husband and I enjoyed our evening at Tommy V's, and we will definitely be returning."

"Great food and service. Unfortunately, we went on Friday night when music was playing. The music was great (blues), but my girl and I were looking forward to something more tones down. We'll certainly check the place out another night for dinner (or Fridays if we want a vibrant night out). Nice restaurant in a well-needed area."
